Salmo 96

¹Cantai ao SENHOR uma nova canção; cantai ao SENHOR toda a terra.

²Cantai ao SENHOR, bendizei ao seu nome; anunciai todos os dias sua salvação.

³Contai sua glória por entre as nações, e suas maravilhas por entre todos os povos.

⁴Porque o SENHOR é grande e muito digno de louvor; ele é mais temível que todos os deuses.

⁵Porque todos os deuses dos povos são ídolos, porém o SENHOR fez os céus;

⁶Majestade e glória há diante dele; força e beleza há em seu santuário.

⁷Reconhecei ao SENHOR, ó famílias dos povos; reconhecei que ao SENHOR pertence a glória e a força.

⁸Reconhecei ao SENHOR a glória de seu nome; trazei ofertas, e entrai nos pátios dele.

⁹Adorai ao SENHOR na glória da santidade; temei perante sua presença toda a terra.

¹⁰Dizei entre as nações: O SENHOR reina; o mundo está firme, e não se abalará; ele julgará aos povos de forma correta.

¹¹Alegrem-se os céus, e enchei de alegria a terra; faça barulho o mar e sua plenitude.

¹²Saltem contentes o campo e tudo que nele há, e que todas as árvores dos bosque cantem de alegria,

¹³Diante do SENHOR; porque ele vem; porque ele vem para julgar a terra. Ele julgará ao mundo com justiça, e aos povos com sua verdade.

¹O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.

²Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

³Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

⁴For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

⁵For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.

⁶Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

⁷Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

⁸Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

⁹O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

¹⁰Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

¹¹Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

¹²Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

¹³Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

¹Canticum ipsi David, quando domus ædificabatur post captivitatem. Cantate Domino canticum novum; cantate Domino omnis terra.

²Cantate Domino, et benedicite nomini ejus; annuntiate de die in diem salutare ejus.

³Annuntiate inter gentes gloriam ejus; in omnibus populis mirabilia ejus.

⁴Quoniam magnus Dominus, et laudabilis nimis: terribilis est super omnes deos.

⁵Quoniam omnes dii gentium dæmonia; Dominus autem cælos fecit.

⁶Confessio et pulchritudo in conspectu ejus; sanctimonia et magnificentia in sanctificatione ejus.

⁷Afferte Domino, patriæ gentium, afferte Domino gloriam et honorem;

⁸afferte Domino gloriam nomini ejus. Tollite hostias, et introite in atria ejus;

⁹adorate Dominum in atrio sancto ejus. Commoveatur a facie ejus universa terra;

¹⁰dicite in gentibus, quia Dominus regnavit. Etenim correxit orbem terræ, qui non commovebitur; judicabit populos in æquitate.

¹¹Lætentur cæli, et exsultet terra; commoveatur mare et plenitudo ejus;

¹²gaudebunt campi, et omnia quæ in eis sunt. Tunc exsultabunt omnia ligna silvarum

¹³a facie Domini, quia venit, quoniam venit judicare terram. Judicabit orbem terræ in æquitate, et populos in veritate sua.

¹Ὅτε ὁ οἶκος οἰκοδομεῖται μετὰ τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν· ᾠδὴ τῷ Δαυείδ. ᾌσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ᾆσμα καινόν, ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ·

²ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ, εὐλογήσατε τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ, εὐαγγελίζεσθε ἡμέραν ἐξ ἡμέρας τὸ σωτήριον αὐτοῦ.

³ἀναγγείλατε ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν τὴν δόξαν αὐτοῦ, ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς λαοῖς τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ.

⁴ὅτι μέγας Κύριος καὶ αἰνετὸς σφόδρα, φοβερός ἐστιν ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς θεούς·

⁵ὅτι πάντες οἱ θεοὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν δαιμόνια, ὁ δὲ κύριος τοὺς οὐρανοὺς ἐποίησεν.

⁶ἐξομολόγησις καὶ ὡραιότης ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ, ἁγιωσύνη καὶ μεγαλοπρέπεια ἐν τῷ ἁγιάσματι αὐτοῦ.

⁷ἐνέγκατε τῷ κυρίῳ, αἱ πατριαὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν, ἐνέγκατε τῷ κυρίῳ δόξαν καὶ τιμήν·

⁸ἐνέγκατε τῷ κυρίῳ δόξαν ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ, ἄρατε θυσίας καὶ εἰσπορεύεσθε εἰς τὰς αὐλὰς αὐτοῦ.

⁹προσκυνήσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν αὐλῇ ἁγίᾳ αὐτοῦ· σαλευθήτω ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ.

¹⁰εἴπατε ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν Ὁ κύριος ἐβασίλευσεν, καὶ γὰρ κατώρθωσεν τὴν οἰκουμένην, ἥτις οὐ σαλευθήσεται· κρινεῖ λαοὺς ἐν εὐθύτητι.

¹¹εὐφραινέσθωσαν οἱ οὐρανοὶ καὶ ἀγαλλιάσθω ἡ γῆ, σαλευθήτω ἡ θάλασσα καὶ τὸ πλήρωμα αὐτῆς·

¹²χαρήσεται τὰ πεδία καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτοῖς, τότε ἀγαλλιάσονται πάντα τὰ ξύλα τοῦ δρυμοῦ

¹³πρὸ προσώπου Κυρίου, ὅτι ἔρχεται, ὅτι ἔρχεται κρῖναι τὴν γῆν· κρινεῖ τὴν οἰκουμένην ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ καὶ λαοὺς ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ αὐτοῦ.
