Salmo 97

¹O SENHOR reina; que a terra se encha de alegria; alegrem-se as muitas ilhas.

²Nuvens e escuridão há ao redor dele; justiça e juízo são a base de seu trono.

³Fogo vai adiante dele, que inflama seus adversários ao redor.

⁴Seus relâmpagos iluminam o mundo; a terra os vê, e treme.

⁵Os montes se derretem como cera na presença do SENHOR, na presença do Senhor de toda a terra.

⁶Os céus anunciam sua justiça, e todos os povos veem sua glória.

⁷Sejam envergonhados todos os que servem a imagens, e os que se orgulham de ídolos; prostrai-vos diante dele todos os deuses.

⁸Sião ouviu, e se alegrou; e as filhas de Judá tiveram muita alegria, por causa de teus juízos, SENHOR;

⁹Pois tu, SENHOR, és o Altíssimo sobre toda a terra; tu és muito mais elevado que todos os deuses.

¹⁰Vós que amais ao SENHOR: odiai o mal; ele guarda a alma de seus santos, e os resgata da mão dos perversos.

¹¹A luz é semeada para o justo, e a alegria para os corretos de coração.

¹²Vós justos, alegrai-vos no SENHOR; e agradecei em memória de sua santidade.

¹The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

²Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

³A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

⁴His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

⁵The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

⁶The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

⁷Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.

⁸Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O Lord.

⁹For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

¹⁰Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

¹¹Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

¹²Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

¹Huic David, quando terra ejus restituta est. Dominus regnavit: exsultet terra; lætentur insulæ multæ.

²Nubes et caligo in circuitu ejus; justitia et judicium correctio sedis ejus.

³Ignis ante ipsum præcedet, et inflammabit in circuitu inimicos ejus.

⁴Illuxerunt fulgura ejus orbi terræ; vidit, et commota est terra.

⁵Montes sicut cera fluxerunt a facie Domini; a facie Domini omnis terra.

⁶Annuntiaverunt cæli justitiam ejus, et viderunt omnes populi gloriam ejus.

⁷Confundantur omnes qui adorant sculptilia, et qui gloriantur in simulacris suis. Adorate eum omnes angeli ejus.

⁸Audivit, et lætata est Sion, et exsultaverunt filiæ Judæ propter judicia tua, Domine.

⁹Quoniam tu Dominus altissimus super omnem terram; nimis exaltatus es super omnes deos.

¹⁰Qui diligitis Dominum, odite malum: custodit Dominus animas sanctorum suorum; de manu peccatoris liberabit eos.

¹¹Lux orta est justo, et rectis corde lætitia.

¹²Lætamini, justi, in Domino, et confitemini memoriæ sanctificationis ejus.

¹Τῷ Δαυείδ, ὅτε ἡ γῆ αὐτοῦ καθίσταται. Ὁ κύριος ἐβασίλευσεν, ἀγαλλιάσεται ἡ γῆ, εὐφρανθήτωσαν νῆσοι πολλαί.

²νεφέλη καὶ γνόφος κύκλῳ αὐτοῦ, δικαιοσύνη καὶ κρίμα κατόρθωσις τοῦ θρόνου αὐτοῦ.

³πῦρ ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ προπορεύσεται, καὶ φλογιεῖ κύκλῳ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτοῦ·

⁴ἔφαναν αἱ ἀστραπαὶ αὐτοῦ τῇ οἰκουμένῃ, εἶδεν καὶ ἐσαλεύθη ἡ γῆ.

⁵τὰ ὄρη ἐτάκησαν ὡσεὶ κηρὸς ἀπὸ προσώπου Κυρίου, ἀπὸ προσώπου Κυρίου πάσης τῆς γῆς.

⁶ἀνήγγειλαν οἱ οὐρανοὶ τὴν δικαιοσύνην αὐτοῦ, καὶ εἴδοσαν πάντες οἱ λαοὶ τὴν δόξαν αὐτοῦ.

⁷αἰσχυνθήτωσαν πάντες οἱ προσκυνοῦντες τοῖς γλυπτοῖς, οἱ ἐγκαυχώμενοι ἐν τοῖς εἰδώλοις αὐτῶν· προσκυνήσατε αὐτῷ πάντες οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτοῦ.

⁸ἤκουσεν καὶ εὐφράνθη Σειών, καὶ ἠγαλλιάσαντο αἱ θυγατέρες τῆς Ἰουδαίας, ἕνεκεν τῶν κριμάτων σου, Κύριε·

⁹ὅτι σὺ εἶ Κύριος ὁ ὕψιστος ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν, σφόδρα ὑπερυψώθης ὑπὲρ πάντας τοὺς θεούς.

¹⁰οἱ ἀγαπῶντες τὸν κύριον, μισεῖτε πονηρόν· φυλάσσει Κύριος τὰς ψυχὰς τῶν ὁσίων αὐτοῦ, ἐκ χειρὸς ἁμαρτωλῶν ῥύσεται αὐτούς.

¹¹φῶς ἀνέτειλεν τῷ δικαίῳ, καὶ τοῖς εὐθέσι τῇ καρδίᾳ εὐφροσύνη.

¹²εὐφράνθητε, δίκαιοι, ἐπὶ τῷ κυρίῳ, καὶ ἐξομολογεῖσθε τῇ μνήμῃ τῆς ἁγιωσύνης αὐτοῦ.
