Salmo 9

¹Salmo de Davi, para o regente, em “Mute-Laben”: Louvarei a ti, SENHOR com todo o meu coração; contarei todas as tuas maravilhas.

²Em ti eu ficarei contente e saltarei de alegria; cantarei a teu nome, ó Altíssimo.

³Meus inimigos voltaram para trás; eles caem e perecem diante de ti.

⁴Porque tu fizeste conforme meu direito e minha causa; tu te sentaste no teu tribunal e julgaste com justiça.

⁵Severamente repreendeste às nações, destruíste ao perverso; tu tiraste o nome dele para sempre e eternamente.

⁶Ao inimigo, as destruições já se acabaram para sempre. E tu arrasaste as cidades, e já pereceu sua memória com elas.

⁷Mas o SENHOR se sentará para governar eternamente; ele já preparou seu trono para julgar.

⁸Ele mesmo julgará ao mundo com justiça; e corretamente fará justiça aos povos.

⁹O SENHOR será um refúgio para o aflito; um refúgio em tempos de angústia.

¹⁰E confiarão em ti os que conhecem o teu nome; porque tu, SENHOR, nunca desamparaste aos que te buscam.

¹¹Cantai ao SENHOR, que habita em Sião! Contai entre os povos as obras dele.

¹²Porque ele investiga os derramamentos de sangue, e lembra-se deles; não se esquece do clamor dos que sofrem.

¹³Tem misericórdia de mim, SENHOR; olha para o meu sofrimento, causado pelos que me odeiam; tu, que me levantas para fora das portas da morte.

¹⁴Para que eu conte todos os teus louvores nas portas da filha de Sião, e me alegre em tua salvação.

¹⁵As nações se afundaram na cova que elas fizeram; o pé delas ficou preso na rede que esconderam.

¹⁶O SENHOR foi conhecido pelo juízo que fez; o perverso foi enlaçado pelas obras de suas próprias mãos. (Higaiom, Selá)

¹⁷Os perversos voltarão ao mundo dos mortos; e também todas as nações que se esquecem de Deus.

¹⁸Porque o necessitado não será esquecido para sempre; nem a esperança dos oprimidos perecerá eternamente.

¹⁹Levanta-te, SENHOR, não prevaleça o homem contra ti; sejam julgadas as nações diante de ti.

²⁰Põe medo neles, SENHOR; saibam as nações que eles são meros mortais. (Selá)

¹To the chief Musician upon Muth–labben, A Psalm of David. I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

²I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

³When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

⁴For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.

⁵Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

⁶O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.

⁷But the Lord shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

⁸And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

⁹The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

¹⁰And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

¹¹Sing praises to the Lord, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

¹²When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

¹³Have mercy upon me, O Lord; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

¹⁴That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

¹⁵The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

¹⁶The Lord is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

¹⁷The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

¹⁸For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

¹⁹Arise, O Lord; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

²⁰Put them in fear, O Lord: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

²Confitebor tibi, Domine, in toto corde meo; narrabo omnia mirabilia tua.

³Lætabor et exsultabo in te; psallam nomini tuo, Altissime.

⁴In convertendo inimicum meum retrorsum; infirmabuntur, et peribunt a facie tua.

⁵Quoniam fecisti judicium meum et causam meam; sedisti super thronum, qui judicas justitiam.

⁶Increpasti gentes, et periit impius: nomen eorum delesti in æternum, et in sæculum sæculi.

⁷Inimici defecerunt frameæ in finem, et civitates eorum destruxisti. Periit memoria eorum cum sonitu;

⁸et Dominus in æternum permanet. Paravit in judicio thronum suum,

⁹et ipse judicabit orbem terræ in æquitate: judicabit populos in justitia.

¹⁰Et factus est Dominus refugium pauperi; adjutor in opportunitatibus, in tribulatione.

¹¹Et sperent in te qui noverunt nomen tuum, quoniam non dereliquisti quærentes te, Domine.

¹²Psallite Domino qui habitat in Sion; annuntiate inter gentes studia ejus:

¹³quoniam requirens sanguinem eorum recordatus est; non est oblitus clamorem pauperum.

¹⁴Miserere mei, Domine: vide humilitatem meam de inimicis meis,

¹⁵qui exaltas me de portis mortis, ut annuntiem omnes laudationes tuas in portis filiæ Sion:

¹⁶exultabo in salutari tuo. Infixæ sunt gentes in interitu quem fecerunt; in laqueo isto quem absconderunt comprehensus est pes eorum.

¹⁷Cognoscetur Dominus judicia faciens; in operibus manuum suarum comprehensus est peccator.

¹⁸Convertantur peccatores in infernum, omnes gentes quæ obliviscuntur Deum.

¹⁹Quoniam non in finem oblivio erit pauperis; patientia pauperum non peribit in finem.

²⁰Exsurge, Domine; non confortetur homo: judicentur gentes in conspectu tuo.

²¹Constitue, Domine, legislatorem super eos, ut sciant gentes quoniam homines sunt.

¹Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ὑπὲρ τῶν κρυφίων τοῦ υἱοῦ· ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυείδ.

²Ἐξομολογήσομαι σοι, Κύριε, ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ μου, διηγήσομαι πάντα τὰ θαυμάσιά σου·

³εὐφρανθήσομαι καὶ ἀγαλλιάσομαι ἐν σοί, ψαλῶ τῷ ὀνόματί σου, Ὕψιστε.

⁴ἐν τῷ ἀποστραφῆναι τὸν ἐχθρὸν μου εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω, ἀσθενήσουσιν καὶ ἀπολοῦνται ἀπὸ προσώπου σου.

⁵ὅτι ἐποίησας τὴν κρίσιν μου καὶ τὴν δίκην μου, ἐκάθισας ἐπὶ θρόνου, ὁ κρίνων δικαιοσύνην.

⁶ἐπετίμησας ἔθνεσιν, καὶ ἀπώλετο ὁ ἀσεβής· τὸ ὄνομα αὐτῶν ἐξήλειψας εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος.

⁷τοῦ ἐχθροῦ ἐξέλιπον αἱ ῥομφαῖαι εἰς τέλος, καὶ πόλεις καθεῖλες· ἀπώλετο τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῶν μετ᾽ ἠχοῦς·

⁸καὶ ὁ κύριος εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα μένει· ἡτοίμασεν ἐν κρίσει τὸν θρόνον αὐτοῦ.

⁹καὶ αὐτὸς κρινεῖ τὴν οἰκουμένην ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ, κρινεῖ λαοὺς ἐν εὐθύτητι.

¹⁰καὶ ἐγένετο Κύριος καταφυγὴ τῷ πένητι, βοηθὸς ἐν εὐκαιρίαις ἐν θλίψει.

¹¹καὶ ἐλπισάτωσαν ἐπὶ σὲ οἱ γινώσκοντες τὸ ὄνομά σου, ὅτι οὐκ ἐνκατέλιπες τοὺς ἐκζητοῦντάς σε, Κύριε.

¹²ψάλατε τῷ κυρίῳ τῷ κατοικοῦντι ἐν Σιών, ἀναγγείλατε ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα αὐτοῦ·

¹³ὅτι ἐκζητῶν τὰ αἵματα αὐτῶν ἐμνήσθη, οὐκ ἐπελάθετο τῆς δεήσεως τῶν πενήτων.

¹⁴ἐλέησόν με, Κύριε· ἴδε τὴν ταπείνωσίν μου ἐκ τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου, ὁ ὑψῶν με ἐκ τῶν πυλῶν τοῦ θανάτου,

¹⁵ὅπως ἂν ἐξαγγείλω πάσας τὰς αἰνέσεις σου ἐν ταῖς πύλαις τῆς θυγατρὸς Σιών· ἀγαλλιάσομαι ἐπὶ τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου.

¹⁶ἐνεπάγησαν ἔθνη ἐν διαφθορᾷ ᾗ ἐποίησαν, ἐν παγίδι ταύτῃ ᾗ ἔκρυψαν συνελήμφθη ὁ ποὺς αὐτῶν.

¹⁷γινώσκεται Κύριος κρίματα ποιῶν, ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις τῶν χειρῶν αὐτοῦ συνελήμφθη ὁ ἁμαρτωλός. ᾠδὴ διαψάλματος.

¹⁸ἀποστραφήτωσαν οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ εἰς τὸν ᾅδην, πάντα τὰ ἔθνη τὰ ἐπιλανθανόμενα τοῦ θεοῦ.

¹⁹ὅτι οὐκ εἰς τέλος ἐπιλησθήσεται ὁ πτωχός, ἡ ὑπομονὴ τῶν πενήτων οὐκ ἀπολεῖται εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.

²⁰ἀνάστηθι, Κύριε, μὴ κραταιούσθω ἄνθρωπος, κριθήτωσαν ἔθνη ἐνώπιόν σου.

²¹κατάστησον, Κύριε, νομοθέτην ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς, γνώτωσαν ἔθνη ὅτι οἱ ἄνθρωποί εἰσιν. διάψαλμα.
