Salmo 10

¹Por que, SENHOR, tu estás longe? Por que tu te escondes em tempos de angústia?

²Com arrogância o perverso persegue furiosamente ao miserável; sejam presos nas ciladas que planejaram.

³Pois o perverso se orgulha do desejo de sua alma; ele bendiz ao ganancioso, e blasfema do SENHOR.

⁴Pela arrogância de seu rosto o perverso não se importa; Deus não existe em todos as seus pensamentos.

⁵Em todo tempo seus caminhos atormentam; teus juízos estão longe do rosto dele, em grande altura; ele sopra furiosamente todos os seus adversários.

⁶Ele diz em seu coração: Eu nunca serei abalado; porque de geração após geração nunca sofrerei mal algum.

⁷Sua boca está cheia de maldição, e de enganos, e de falsidade; debaixo de sua língua há sofrimento e maldade.

⁸Eles se sentam postos para as ciladas das aldeias; nos esconderijos ele mata ao inocente; seus olhos observam secretamente ao contra o pobre.

⁹Ele arma ciladas no esconderijo, como o leão em seu covil; arma ciladas para roubar ao miserável; rouba ao miserável, trazendo-o em sua rede.

¹⁰Ele se encolhe, se agacha, para que os pobres caiam em suas armadilhas.

¹¹Ele diz em seu coração: Deus já se esqueceu; já escondeu o seu rosto, nunca mais o verá.

¹²Levanta-te, SENHOR Deus, ergue tua mão; não te esqueças dos miseráveis.

¹³Por que o perverso blasfema de Deus? Ele diz eu seu coração que tu nada lhe exigirá.

¹⁴Tu estás o vendo; porque tu olhas para o trabalho e o cansaço, para o entregar em tuas mãos; em ti o pobre põe confiança; tu és o que ajuda ao órfão.

¹⁵Quebra tu o braço do perverso e do maligno; faz cobrança da maldade dele, até que tu aches nada mais dela.

¹⁶O SENHOR é Rei eterno e para todo o sempre; as nações perecerão de sua terra.

¹⁷SENHOR, tu ouviste o desejo dos humildes; tu fortalecerás os seus corações, e teus ouvidos os ouvirão;

¹⁸Para fazer justiça ao órfão e ao afligido; para que o homem não mais continue a praticar o terror.

¹Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

²The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

³For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth.

⁴The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

⁵His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

⁶He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

⁷His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

⁸He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

⁹He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

¹⁰He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

¹¹He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

¹²Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

¹³Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.

¹⁴Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

¹⁵Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

¹⁶The Lord is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.

¹⁷Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

¹⁸To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

²²Ut quid, Domine, recessisti longe; despicis in opportunitatibus, in tribulatione?

²³Dum superbit impius, incenditur pauper: comprehenduntur in consiliis quibus cogitant.

²⁴Quoniam laudatur peccator in desideriis animæ suæ, et iniquus benedicitur.

²⁵Exacerbavit Dominum peccator: secundum multitudinem iræ suæ, non quæret.

²⁶Non est Deus in conspectu ejus; inquinatæ sunt viæ illius in omni tempore. Auferuntur judicia tua a facie ejus; omnium inimicorum suorum dominabitur.

²⁷Dixit enim in corde suo: Non movebor a generatione in generationem, sine malo.

²⁸Cujus maledictione os plenum est, et amaritudine, et dolo; sub lingua ejus labor et dolor.

²⁹Sedet in insidiis cum divitibus in occultis, ut interficiat innocentem.

³⁰Oculi ejus in pauperem respiciunt; insidiatur in abscondito, quasi leo in spelunca sua. Insidiatur ut rapiat pauperem; rapere pauperem dum attrahit eum.

³¹In laqueo suo humiliabit eum; inclinabit se, et cadet cum dominatus fuerit pauperum.

³²Dixit enim in corde suo: Oblitus est Deus; avertit faciem suam, ne videat in finem.

³³Exsurge, Domine Deus, exaltetur manus tua; ne obliviscaris pauperum.

³⁴Propter quid irritavit impius Deum? dixit enim in corde suo: Non requiret.

³⁵Vides, quoniam tu laborem et dolorem consideras, ut tradas eos in manus tuas. Tibi derelictus est pauper; orphano tu eris adjutor.

³⁶Contere brachium peccatoris et maligni; quæretur peccatum illius, et non invenietur.

³⁷Dominus regnabit in æternum, et in sæculum sæculi; peribitis, gentes, de terra illius.

³⁸Desiderium pauperum exaudivit Dominus; præparationem cordis eorum audivit auris tua:

³⁹judicare pupillo et humili, ut non apponat ultra magnificare se homo super terram.

²²ἵνα τί, Κύριε, ἀφέστηκας μακρόθεν; ὑπερορᾷς ἐν εὐκαιρίαις ἐν θλίψει;

²³ἐν τῷ ὑπερηφανεύεσθαι τὸν ἀσεβῆ ἐνπυρίζεται ὁ πτωχός· συνλαμβάνονται ἐν διαβουλίοις οἷς διαλογίζονται.

²⁴ὅτι ἐπαινεῖται ὁ ἁμαρτωλὸς ἐν ταῖς ἐπιθυμίαις τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ, καὶ ὁ ἀδικῶν ἐνευλογεῖται.

²⁵παρώξυνεν τὸν Κύριον ὁ ἁμαρτωλός, κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῆς ὀργῆς αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐκζητήσει· οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ θεὸς ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ.

²⁶βεβηλοῦνται αἱ ὁδοὶ αὐτοῦ ἐν παντὶ καιρῷ· ἀνταναιρεῖται τὰ κρίματά σου ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ, πάντων τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτοῦ κατακυριεύσει.

²⁷εἶπεν γὰρ ἐν καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ Οὐ μὴ σαλευθῶ ἀπὸ γενεᾶς εἰς γενεὰν ἄνευ κακοῦ.

²⁸οὗ ἀρᾶς τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ γέμει καὶ πικρίας καὶ δόλου, ὑπὸ τὴν γλῶσσαν αὐτοῦ κόπος καὶ πόνος.

²⁹ἐνκάθηται ἐνέδρᾳ μετὰ πλουσίων ἐν ἀποκρύφοις ἀποκτεῖναι ἀθῷον· οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν πένητα ἀποβλέπουσιν.

³⁰ἐνεδρεύει ἐν ἀποκρύφῳ, ὡς λέων ἐν τῇ μάνδρᾳ αὐτοῦ· ἐνεδρεύει τοῦ ἁρπάσαι πτωχόν, ἁρπάσαι πτωχὸν ἐν τῷ ἑλκύσαι αὐτόν· ἐν τῇ παγίδι αὐτοῦ

³¹ταπεινώσει αὐτόν· κύψει καὶ πεσεῖται ἐν τῷ αὐτὸν κατακυριεῦσαι τῶν πενήτων.

³²εἶπεν γὰρ ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ Ἐπιλέλησται ὁ θεός, ἀπέστρεψεν τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ τοῦ μὴ βλέπειν εἰς τέλος.

³³ἀνάστηθι, Κύριε ὁ θεός, ὑψωθήτω ἡ χείρ σου· μὴ ἐπιλάθῃ τῶν πενήτων.

³⁴ἕνεκεν τίνος παρώξυνεν ὁ ἀσεβὴς τὸν θεόν; εἶπεν γὰρ ἐν καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ Οὐ ζητήσει.

³⁵βλέπεις, ὅτι σὺ πόνον καὶ θυμὸν κατανοήσεις, τοῦ παραδοῦναι αὐτοὺς εἰς χεῖράς σου. σοὶ οὖν ἐνκαταλέλειπται ὁ πτωχός, ὀρφανῷ σὺ ἦσθα βοηθός.

³⁶σύντριψον τὸν βραχίονα τοῦ ἁμαρτωλοῦ καὶ πονηροῦ· ζητηθήσεται ἡ ἁμαρτία αὐτοῦ, καὶ οὐ μὴ εὑρεθῇ δι᾽ αὐτήν.

³⁷βασιλεύσει Κύριος εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος· ἀπολεῖσθε, ἔθνη, ἐκ τῆς γῆς αὐτοῦ.

³⁸τὴν ἐπιθυμίαν τῶν πενήτων εἰσήκουσεν Κύριος, τὴν ἑτοιμασίαν τῆς καρδίας αὐτῶν προσέσχεν τὸ οὖς σου,

³⁹κρῖναι ὀρφανῷ καὶ ταπεινῷ, ἵνα μὴ προσθῇ ἔτι μεγαλαυχεῖν ἄνθρωπος ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.
