Salmo 84

¹Para o regente, com “Gitite”. Salmo dos filhos de Coré: Quão agradáveis são tuas moradas, SENHOR dos exércitos!

²Minha alma está desejosa, ao ponto de desmaiar, pelos pátios do SENHOR; meu coração e minha carne clamam ao Deus vivente.

³Até o pardal acha casa, e a andorinha ninho para si, onde ponha filhotes perto de teus altares, ó SENHOR dos exércitos, Rei meu e Deus meu.

⁴Bem-aventurados os que habitam em tua casa; eles louvam a ti continuamente. (Selá)

⁵Bem-aventurados aqueles cuja força está em ti, em cujos corações estão os caminhos corretos.

⁶Eles, ao passarem pelo Vale de Baca, fazem dele uma fonte; e a chuva o cobre de bênçãos.

⁷Eles vão de força em força; cada um deles comparece diante de Deus em Sião.

⁸SENHOR Deus dos exércitos, escuta minha oração; inclina os teus ouvidos, ó Deus de Jacó. (Selá)

⁹Olha o nosso escudo, ó Deus; e observa o rosto do teu ungido.

¹⁰Porque melhor é um dia nos teus pátios, do que mil fora. Prefiro estar à porta da casa do meu Deus, a morar nas tendas dos perversos.

¹¹Porque o SENHOR Deus é sol e escudo; o SENHOR concederá graça e honra; ele não negará o bem aos que andam em integridade.

¹²Ó SENHOR dos exércitos, bem-aventurado é o homem que confia em ti!

²My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

³Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.

⁴Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

⁵Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

⁶Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

⁷They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

⁸O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

⁹Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

¹⁰For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

¹¹For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

¹²O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

²Quam dilecta tabernacula tua, Domine virtutum!

³Concupiscit, et deficit anima mea in atria Domini; cor meum et caro mea exsultaverunt in Deum vivum.

⁴Etenim passer invenit sibi domum, et turtur nidum sibi, ubi ponat pullos suos: altaria tua, Domine virtutum, rex meus, et Deus meus.

⁵Beati qui habitant in domo tua, Domine; in sæcula sæculorum laudabunt te.

⁶Beatus vir cujus est auxilium abs te: ascensiones in corde suo disposuit,

⁷in valle lacrimarum, in loco quem posuit.

⁸Etenim benedictionem dabit legislator; ibunt de virtute in virtutem: videbitur Deus deorum in Sion.

⁹Domine Deus virtutum, exaudi orationem meam; auribus percipe, Deus Jacob.

¹⁰Protector noster, aspice, Deus, et respice in faciem christi tui.

¹¹Quia melior est dies una in atriis tuis super millia; elegi abjectus esse in domo Dei mei magis quam habitare in tabernaculis peccatorum.

¹²Quia misericordiam et veritatem diligit Deus: gratiam et gloriam dabit Dominus.

¹³Non privabit bonis eos qui ambulant in innocentia: Domine virtutum, beatus homo qui sperat in te.

¹Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ὑπὲρ τῶν ληνῶν· τοῖς υἱοῖς Κόρε ψαλμός.

²Ὡς ἀγαπητὰ τὰ σκηνώματά σου, Κύριε τῶν δυνάμεων.

³ἐπιποθεῖ καὶ ἐκλείπει ἡ ψυχή μου εἰς τὰς αὐλὰς τοῦ κυρίου· ἡ καρδία μου καὶ ἡ σάρξ μου ἠγαλλιάσαντο ἐπὶ θεὸν ζῶντα.

⁴καὶ γὰρ στρουθίον εὗρεν ἑαυτῷ οἰκίαν, καὶ τρυγὼν νοσσιὰν ἑαυτῇ οὗ θήσει τὰ νοσσία αὐτῆς· τὰ θυσιαστήριά σου, Κύριε τῶν δυνάμεων, ὁ βασιλεύς μου καὶ ὁ θεός μου.

⁵μακάριοι πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ σου, εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων αἰνέσουσίν σε. διάψαλμα.

⁶μακάριος ἀνὴρ οὗ ἐστιν ἡ ἀντίλημψις αὐτοῦ παρὰ σοῦ, Κύριε· ἀναβάσεις ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ διέθετο,

⁷ἐν τῇ κοίλαδι τοῦ κλαυθμῶνος, εἰς τόπον ὃν ἔθετο. καὶ γὰρ εὐλογίας δώσει ὁ νομοθετῶν·

⁸πορεύσονται ἐκ δυνάμεως εἰς δύναμιν, ὀφθήσεται ὁ θεὸς τῶν θεῶν ἐν Σιών.

⁹Κύριε ὁ θεὸς τῶν δυνάμεων, εἰσάκουσον τῆς προσευχῆς μου, ἐνώτισαι, ὁ θεὸς Ἰακώβ. διάψαλμα.

¹⁰ὑπερασπιστὰ ἡμῶν ἴδε ὁ θεός, καὶ ἐπίβλεψον ἐπὶ τὸ πρόσωπον τοῦ χριστοῦ σου.

¹¹ὅτι κρείσσων ἡμέρα μία ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς σου ὑπὲρ χιλιάδας· ἐξελεξάμην παραριπτεῖσθαι ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ θεοῦ μᾶλλον ἢ οἰκεῖν ἐπὶ σκηνώμασιν ἁμαρτωλῶν.

¹²ὅτι ἔλεον καὶ ἀλήθειαν ἀγαπᾷ Κύριος ὁ θεός, χάριν καὶ δόξαν δώσει· Κύριος οὐχ ὑστερήσει τὰ ἀγαθὰ τοὺς πορευομένους ἐν ἀκακίᾳ.

¹³Κύριε τῶν δυνάμεων, μακάριος ἄνθρωπος ὁ ἐλπίζων ἐπὶ σέ.
