Salmo 74

¹Instrução de Asafe: Deus, por que nos rejeitaste para sempre? Por que tua ira fumega contra as ovelhas do teu pasto?

²Lembra-te do teu povo, que tu compraste desde a antiguidade; a tribo de tua herança, que resgataste; o monte Sião, em que habitaste.

³Percorre as ruínas duradouras, tudo que o inimigo destruiu no santuário.

⁴Os teus inimigos rugiram no meio de tuas assembleias; puseram por sinais de vitória os símbolos deles.

⁵Eles eram como o que levantam machados contra os troncos das árvores.

⁶E agora, com machados e martelos, quebraram todas as obras entalhadas.

⁷Puseram fogo no teu santuário; profanaram levando ao chão o lugar onde o teu nome habita.

⁸Disseram em seus corações: Nós os destruiremos por completo; serão queimadas todas as assembleias de Deus na terra.

⁹Já não vemos os nossos sinais; já não há mais profeta; e ninguém entre nós sabe até quando será assim.

¹⁰Deus, até quando o adversário insultará? O inimigo blasfemará o teu nome para sempre?

¹¹Por que está afastada a tua mão direita? Tira-a do teu peito!

¹²Deus é o meu Rei desde a antiguidade; ele opera salvação no meio da terra.

¹³Tu dividiste o mar com a tua força; quebraste as cabeças dos monstros nas águas.

¹⁴Despedaçaste as cabeças do leviatã; e o deste como alimento ao povo do deserto.

¹⁵Tu dividiste a fonte e o ribeiro; tu secaste os rios perenes.

¹⁶A ti pertence o dia, a noite também é tua; tu preparaste a luz e o sol.

¹⁷Tu estabeleceste todos os limites da terra; tu formaste o verão e o inverno.

¹⁸Lembra-te disto: que o inimigo insultou ao SENHOR; e um povo tolo blasfemou o teu nome.

¹⁹Não entregues a vida da tua pombinha para os animais selvagens; não te esqueças para sempre da vida dos teus pobres.

²⁰Olha para o teu pacto, porque os lugares escuros da terra estão cheios de habitações violentas.

²¹Não permitas que o oprimido volte humilhado; que o aflito e o necessitado louvem o teu nome.

²²Levanta-te, Deus; luta em favor de tua causa; lembra-te do insulto que o tolo faz a ti o dia todo.

²³Não te esqueças da voz dos teus adversários; o barulho dos que se levantam contra ti sobe cada vez mais.

¹Maschil of Asaph. O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?

²Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.

³Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.

⁴Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.

⁵A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.

⁶But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.

⁷They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.

⁸They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.

⁹We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.

¹⁰O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

¹¹Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.

¹²For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

¹³Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.

¹⁴Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.

¹⁵Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.

¹⁶The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.

¹⁷Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.

¹⁸Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O Lord, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.

¹⁹O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.

²⁰Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.

²¹O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.

²²Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.

²³Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.

¹Intellectus Asaph. Ut quid, Deus, repulisti in finem, iratus est furor tuus super oves pascuæ tuæ?

²Memor esto congregationis tuæ, quam possedisti ab initio. Redemisti virgam hæreditatis tuæ, mons Sion, in quo habitasti in eo.

³Leva manus tuas in superbias eorum in finem: quanta malignatus est inimicus in sancto!

⁴Et gloriati sunt qui oderunt te in medio solemnitatis tuæ; posuerunt signa sua, signa:

⁵et non cognoverunt sicut in exitu super summum. Quasi in silva lignorum securibus

⁶exciderunt januas ejus in idipsum; in securi et ascia dejecerunt eam.

⁷Incenderunt igni sanctuarium tuum; in terra polluerunt tabernaculum nominis tui.

⁸Dixerunt in corde suo cognatio eorum simul: Quiescere faciamus omnes dies festos Dei a terra.

⁹Signa nostra non vidimus; jam non est propheta; et nos non cognoscet amplius.

¹⁰Usquequo, Deus, improperabit inimicus? irritat adversarius nomen tuum in finem?

¹¹Ut quid avertis manum tuam, et dexteram tuam de medio sinu tuo in finem?

¹²Deus autem rex noster ante sæcula: operatus est salutem in medio terræ.

¹³Tu confirmasti in virtute tua mare; contribulasti capita draconum in aquis.

¹⁴Tu confregisti capita draconis; dedisti eum escam populis Æthiopum.

¹⁵Tu dirupisti fontes et torrentes; tu siccasti fluvios Ethan.

¹⁶Tuus est dies, et tua est nox; tu fabricatus es auroram et solem.

¹⁷Tu fecisti omnes terminos terræ; æstatem et ver tu plasmasti ea.

¹⁸Memor esto hujus: inimicus improperavit Domino, et populus insipiens incitavit nomen tuum.

¹⁹Ne tradas bestiis animas confitentes tibi, et animas pauperum tuorum ne obliviscaris in finem.

²⁰Respice in testamentum tuum, quia repleti sunt qui obscurati sunt terræ domibus iniquitatum.

²¹Ne avertatur humilis factus confusus; pauper et inops laudabunt nomen tuum.

²²Exsurge, Deus, judica causam tuam; memor esto improperiorum tuorum, eorum quæ ab insipiente sunt tota die.

²³Ne obliviscaris voces inimicorum tuorum: superbia eorum qui te oderunt ascendit semper.

¹Συνέσεως τῷ Ἀσάφ. Ἵνα τί ἀπώσω, ὁ θεός, εἰς τέλος; ὠργίσθη ὁ θυμός σου ἐπὶ πρόβατα νομῆς σου;

²μνήσθητι τῆς συναγωγῆς σου ἧς ἐκτήσω ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς· ἐλυτρώσω ῥάβδον κληρονομίας σου, ὄρος Σιὼν τοῦτο ὃ κατεσκήνωσας ἐν αὐτῷ.

³ἔπαρον τὰς χεῖράς σου ἐπὶ τὰς ὑπερηφανίας αὐτῶν εἰς τέλος, ὅσα ἐπονηρεύσατο ὁ ἐχθρὸς ἐν τοῖς ἁγίοις σου.

⁴καὶ ἐνεκαυχήσαντο οἱ μισοῦντές σε ἐν μέσῳ τῆς ἑορτῆς σου,

⁵ὡς εἰς τὴν εἴσοδον ὑπεράνω· ὡς ἐν δρυμῷ ξύλων ἀξίναις ἐξέκοψαν

⁶τὰς θύρας αὐτῆς· ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ ἐν πελέκει καὶ λαξευτηρίῳ κατέρραξαν αὐτήν.

⁷ἐνεπύρισαν ἐν πυρὶ τὸ ἁγιαστήριόν σου· εἰς τὴν γῆν ἐβεβήλωσαν τὸ σκήνωμα τοῦ ὀνόματός σου.

⁸εἶπαν ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτῶν ἡ συγγενία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό Δεῦτε καὶ καταπαύσωμεν τὰς ἑορτὰς Κυρίου ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς.

⁹τὰ σημεῖα ἡμῶν οὐκ εἴδομεν, οὐκ ἔστιν ἔτι προφήτης, καὶ ἡμᾶς οὐ γνώσεται ἔτι.

¹⁰ἕως πότε, ὁ θεός, ὀνειδιεῖ ὁ ἐχθρός; παροξυνεῖ ὁ ὑπεναντίος τὸ ὄνομά σου εἰς τέλος;

¹¹ἵνα τί ἀποστρέφεις τὴν χεῖρά σου καὶ τὴν δεξιάν σου ἐκ μέσου τοῦ κόλπου σου εἰς τέλος;

¹²ὁ δὲ βασιλεὺς ἡμῶν πρὸ αἰῶνος, εἰργάσατο σωτηρίαν ἐν μέσῳ τῆς γῆς.

¹³σὺ ἐκραταίωσας ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου τὴν θάλασσαν, σὺ συνέτριψας τὰς κεφαλὰς τῶν δρακόντων ἐπὶ τοῦ ὕδατος·

¹⁴ἔδωκας αὐτὸν βρῶμα λαοῖς τοῖς Αἰθίοψιν.

¹⁵σὺ διέρρηξας πηγὰς καὶ χειμάρρους,

¹⁶σή ἐστιν ἡ ἡμέρα, καὶ σή ἐστιν ἡ νύξ· σὺ κατηρτίσω ἥλιον καὶ σελήνην.

¹⁷σὺ ἐποίησας πάντα τὰ ὅρια τῆς γῆς· θέρος καὶ ἔαρ σὺ ἐποίησας·

¹⁸μνήσθητι ταύτης τῆς κτίσεώς σου. ἐχθρὸς ὠνείδισεν τὸν κύριον, καὶ λαὸς ἄφρων παρώξυνεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ.

¹⁹μὴ παραδῷς τοῖς θηρίοις ψυχὴν ἐξομολογουμένην σοι, τῶν ψυχῶν τῶν πενήτων σου μὴ ἐπιλάθῃ εἰς τέλος.

²⁰ἐπίβλεψον εἰς τὴν διαθήκην σου, ὅτι ἐπληρώθησαν οἱ ἐσκοτωμένοι τῆς γῆς οἴκων ἀνομιῶν.

²¹μὴ ἀποστραφήτω τεταπεινωμένος καὶ κατῃσχυμμένος· πτωχὸς καὶ πένης αἰνέσουσιν τὸ ὄνομά σου.

²²ἀνάστα, ὁ θεός, δίκασον τὴν δίκην σου· μνήσθητι τῶν ὀνειδισμῶν σου τῶν ὑπὸ ἄφρονος ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν.

²³μὴ ἐπιλάθῃ τῆς φωνῆς τῶν ἱκετῶν σου, ἡ ὑπερηφανία τῶν μισούντων σε ἀναβαίη διὰ παντὸς πρὸς σέ.
