Salmo 62

¹Salmo de Davi para o regente, conforme “Jedutum”: Certamente minha alma se aquieta por causa de Deus; dele vem minha salvação.

²Certamente ele é minha rocha, minha salvação e meu refúgio; não serei muito abalado.

³Até quando atacareis um homem? Todos vós sereis mortos; sereis como um parede tombada e uma cerca derrubada.

⁴Eles somente tomam conselhos sobre como lançá-lo abaixo de sua alta posição; agradam-se de mentiras; falam bem com suas bocas, mas amaldiçoam em seus interiores. (Selá)

⁵Tu, porém, ó minha alma, aquieta-te em Deus; porque ele é minha esperança.

⁶Certamente ele é minha rocha, minha salvação e meu refúgio; não me abalarei.

⁷Em Deus está minha salvação e minha glória; em Deus está minha força e meu refúgio.

⁸Confiai, povo, nele em todo o tempo; derramai vosso coração diante dele; Deus é nosso refúgio. (Selá)

⁹Pois os filhos dos seres humanos são nada; os filhos do homem são mentira; pesados juntos são mais leves que o vazio.

¹⁰Não confieis na opressão, nem no roubo; nem sejais inúteis; quando tiverdes bens, não ponhais neles vosso coração.

¹¹Deus falou uma vez; eu ouvi duas vezes: que de Deus vem o poder.

¹²Também é tua, Senhor, a bondade; pois tu pagarás a cada homem conforme sua obra.

²He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

³How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

⁴They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

⁵My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

⁶He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

⁷In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

⁸Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

⁹Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

¹⁰Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

¹¹God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

¹²Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

²Nonne Deo subjecta erit anima mea? ab ipso enim salutare meum.

³Nam et ipse Deus meus et salutaris meus; susceptor meus, non movebor amplius.

⁴Quousque irruitis in hominem? interficitis universi vos, tamquam parieti inclinato et maceriæ depulsæ.

⁵Verumtamen pretium meum cogitaverunt repellere; cucurri in siti: ore suo benedicebant, et corde suo maledicebant.

⁶Verumtamen Deo subjecta esto, anima mea, quoniam ab ipso patientia mea:

⁷quia ipse Deus meus et salvator meus, adjutor meus, non emigrabo.

⁸In Deo salutare meum et gloria mea; Deus auxilii mei, et spes mea in Deo est.

⁹Sperate in eo, omnis congregatio populi; effundite coram illo corda vestra: Deus adjutor noster in æternum.

¹⁰Verumtamen vani filii hominum, mendaces filii hominum in stateris, ut decipiant ipsi de vanitate in idipsum.

¹¹Nolite sperare in iniquitate, et rapinas nolite concupiscere; divitiæ si affluant, nolite cor apponere.

¹²Semel locutus est Deus; duo hæc audivi: quia potestas Dei est,

¹³et tibi, Domine, misericordia: quia tu reddes unicuique juxta opera sua.

¹Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ὑπὲρ Ἰδιθούν· ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυείδ.

²Οὐχὶ τῷ θεῷ ὑποταγήσεται ἡ ψυχή μου; παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ γὰρ τὸ σωτήριόν μου.

³καὶ γὰρ αὐτὸς ὁ θεός μου καὶ σωτήρ μου, ἀντιλήμπτωρ μου· οὐ μὴ σαλευθῶ ἐπὶ πλεῖον.

⁴ἕως πότε ἐπιτίθεσθε ἐπ᾽ ἄνθρωπον; φονεύετε πάντες ὡς τοίχῳ κεκλιμένῳ καὶ φραγμῷ ὠσμένῳ.

⁵πλὴν τὴν τιμήν μου ἐβουλεύσαντο ἀπώσασθαι, ἔδραμον ἐν δίψει· τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν εὐλογοῦσαν, καὶ τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτῶν κατηρῶντο. διάψαλμα.

⁶πλὴν τῷ θεῷ ὑποτάγηθι, ψυχή μου, ὅτι παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἡ ὑπομονή μου.

⁷ὅτι αὐτὸς θεός μου καὶ σωτήρ μου, ἀντιλήμπτωρ μου· οὐ μὴ μεταναστεύσω.

⁸ἐπὶ τῷ θεῷ τὸ σωτήριόν μου καὶ ἡ δόξα μου· ὁ θεὸς τῆς βοηθείας μου, καὶ ἡ ἐλπίς μου ἐπὶ τῷ θεῷ.

⁹ἐλπίσατε ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν, πᾶσα συναγωγὴ λαοῦ· ἐκχέετε ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ τὰς καρδίας ὑμῶν· ὁ θεὸς βοηθὸς ἡμῶν. διάψαλμα.

¹⁰πλὴν μάταιοι οἱ υἱοὶ τῶν ἀνθρώπων, ψευδεῖς οἱ υἱοὶ τῶν ἀνθρώπων ἐν ζυγοῖς τοῦ ἀδικῆσαι, αὐτοὶ ἐκ ματαιότητος ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό.

¹¹μὴ ἐλπίζετε ἐπὶ ἀδικίαν, καὶ ἐπὶ ἁρπάγματα μὴ ἐπιποθεῖτε· πλοῦτος ἐὰν ῥέῃ, μὴ προστίθεσθε καρδίαν

¹²ἅπαξ ἐλάλησεν ὁ θεός, δύο ταῦτα ἤκουσα, ὅτι τὸ κράτος τοῦ θεοῦ,

¹³καὶ σοῦ, κύριε, τὸ ἔλεος, ὅτι σὺ ἀποδώσεις ἑκάστῳ κατὰ τὰ ἔργα αὐτοῦ.
