Salmo 48

¹Cântico e salmo, dos filhos de Coré: O SENHOR é grande e muito louvável, na cidade de nosso Deus, no monte de sua santidade.

²Belo de se ver e alegria de toda a terra é o monte de Sião, nas terras do norte; a cidade do grande Rei.

³Deus está em seus palácios, e é conhecido como alto refúgio.

⁴Porque eis que os reis se reuniram; eles juntamente passaram

⁵Eles, quando a viram, ficaram maravilhados; assombraram-se, fugiram apressadamente.

⁶Ali o temor os tomou, e sentiram dores como as de parto.

⁷Com o vento do oriente tu quebras os navios de Társis.

⁸Assim como nós ouvimos, também vimos na cidade do SENHOR dos exércitos, na cidade do nosso Deus; Deus a firmará para sempre. (Selá)

⁹Deus, nós reconhecemos tua bondade no meio de teu templo.

¹⁰Conforme o teu nome, ó Deus, assim é o louvor a ti, até os confins da terra; tua mão direita está cheia de justiça.

¹¹Alegre-se o monte de Sião, fiquem contentes as filhas de Judá, por causa de teus juízos.

¹²Andai ao redor de Sião, e a circundai; contai suas torres.

¹³Ponde vosso coração em seus muros de defesa, prestai atenção em seus palácios, para que conteis deles à geração seguinte.

¹⁴Porque este Deus é nosso Deus para todo o sempre; ele nos acompanhará até a morte.

²Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

³God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

⁸As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.

⁹We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

¹⁰According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

¹¹Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

¹²Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.

¹³Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.

¹⁴For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

²Magnus Dominus et laudabilis nimis, in civitate Dei nostri, in monte sancto ejus.

³Fundatur exsultatione universæ terræ mons Sion; latera aquilonis, civitas regis magni.

⁴Deus in domibus ejus cognoscetur cum suscipiet eam.

⁵Quoniam ecce reges terræ congregati sunt; convenerunt in unum.

⁶Ipsi videntes, sic admirati sunt, conturbati sunt, commoti sunt.

⁷Tremor apprehendit eos; ibi dolores ut parturientis:

⁸in spiritu vehementi conteres naves Tharsis.

⁹Sicut audivimus, sic vidimus, in civitate Domini virtutum, in civitate Dei nostri: Deus fundavit eam in æternum.

¹⁰Suscepimus, Deus, misericordiam tuam in medio templi tui.

¹¹Secundum nomen tuum, Deus, sic et laus tua in fines terræ; justitia plena est dextera tua.

¹²Lætetur mons Sion, et exsultent filiæ Judæ, propter judicia tua, Domine.

¹³Circumdate Sion, et complectimini eam; narrate in turribus ejus.

¹⁴Ponite corda vestra in virtute ejus, et distribuite domos ejus, ut enarretis in progenie altera.

¹⁵Quoniam hic est Deus, Deus noster in æternum, et in sæculum sæculi: ipse reget nos in sæcula.

¹Ψαλμὸς ᾠδῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Κόρε, δευτέρᾳ σαββάτου.

²Μέγας Κύριος καὶ αἰνετὸς σφόδρα ἐν πόλει τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν, ὄρει ἁγίῳ αὐτοῦ,

³εὐρίζῳ ἀγαλλιάματι πάσης τῆς γῆς· ὄρη Σιών, τὰ πλευρὰ τοῦ βορρᾶ, ἡ πόλις τοῦ βασιλέως τοῦ μεγάλου.

⁴ὁ θεὸς ἐν ταῖς βάρεσιν αὐτῆς γινώσκεται, ὅταν ἀντιλαμβάνηται αὐτῆς.

⁵ὅτι ἰδοὺ οἱ βασιλεῖς συνήχθησαν, ἤλθοσαν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό·

⁶αὐτοὶ ἰδόντες οὕτως ἐθαύμασαν, ἐταράχθησαν, ἐσαλεύθησαν·

⁷τρόμος ἐπελάβετο αὐτῶν, ἐκεῖ ὠδῖνες ὡς τικτούσης.

⁸ἐν πνεύματι βιαίῳ συντρίψεις πλοῖα Θαρσείς.

⁹καθάπερ ἠκούσαμεν, οὕτως εἴδομεν ἐν πόλει Κυρίου τῶν δυνάμεων, ἐν πόλει τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν· ὁ θεὸς ἐθεμελίωσεν αὐτὴν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα. διάψαλμα.

¹⁰ὑπελάβομεν, ὁ θεός, τὸ ἔλεός σου ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ λαοῦ σου.

¹¹κατὰ τὸ ὄνομά σου, ὁ θεός, οὕτως καὶ ἡ αἴνεσίς σου ἐπὶ τὰ πέρατα τῆς γῆς· δικαιοσύνης πλήρης ἡ δεξιά σου.

¹²εὐφρανθήτω τὸ ὄρος Σιών, ἀγαλλιάσθωσαν αἱ θυγατέρες τῆς Ἰουδαίας ἕνεκα τῶν κριμάτων σου, Κύριε.

¹³κυκλώσατε Σιὼν καὶ περιβάλετε αὐτήν, διηγήσασθε ἐν τοῖς πύργοις αὐτῆς·

¹⁴θέσθε τὰς καρδίας ὑμῶν εἰς τὴν δύναμιν αὐτῆς, καὶ καταδιέλεσθε τὰς βάρεις αὐτῆς, ὅπως ἂν διηγήσησθε εἰς γενεὰν ἑτέραν.

¹⁵ὅτι οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος.
