Salmo 45

¹Instrução e canção de amor, para o regente; dos filhos de Coré, conforme “os lírios”: Meu coração derrama palavras boas; digo meus versos sobre o Rei; minha língua é pena de um habilidoso escriba.

²Tu és o mais belo dos filhos dos homens; graça foi derramada em teus lábios, por isso Deus te bendisse para sempre.

³Põe tua espada ao redor de tua coxa, ó valente; com tua glória e tua honra.

⁴E em tua glória prosperamente cavalga, sobre a palavra da verdade e da justa mansidão; e tua mão direita ensinará coisas temíveis.

⁵Tuas flechas são afiadas no coração dos inimigos do Rei; povos cairão debaixo de ti.

⁶Deus, teu trono é eterno e dura para sempre; o cetro de teu reino é cetro de equidade.

⁷Tu amas a justiça e odeias a maldade; por isso Deus, o teu Deus te ungiu com azeite de alegria, mais que a teus companheiros.

⁸Todos as tuas roupas cheiram a mirra, aloés e cássia; alegram-te desde os palácios de marfim.

⁹Filhas de reis estão entre tuas damas de honra; e a rainha está à tua direita, ornada com o valioso ouro de Ofir.

¹⁰Ouve, filha, e olha, e inclina os teus ouvidos; e esquece-te de teu povo, e da casa de teu pai.

¹¹Então o rei desejará tua beleza; inclina-te a ele, pois ele é teu Senhor.

¹²E a filha de Tiro, os ricos dentre o povo, suplicarão teu favor com presentes.

¹³Gloriosa é a filha do Rei dentro do palácio; de fios de ouro é a sua roupa.

¹⁴Com roupas bordadas a levarão ao Rei; as virgens atrás dela, suas companheiras, serão trazidas a ti.

¹⁵Serão trazidas com alegria e grande satisfação; entrarão no palácio do Rei.

¹⁶Em vez de teus pais, serão teus filhos; tu os porás por príncipes sobre toda a terra.

¹⁷Farei memória de teu nome em toda geração após geração; por isso os povos te louvarão para todo o sempre.

²Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.

³Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.

⁴And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

⁵Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.

⁶Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

⁷Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

⁸All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.

⁹Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

¹⁰Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house;

¹¹So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.

¹²And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.

¹³The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

¹⁴She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

¹⁵With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace.

¹⁶Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.

¹⁷I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.

¹In finem, pro iis qui commutabuntur. Filiis Core, ad intellectum. Canticum pro dilecto.

²Eructavit cor meum verbum bonum: dico ego opera mea regi. Lingua mea calamus scribæ velociter scribentis.

³Speciosus forma præ filiis hominum, diffusa est gratia in labiis tuis: propterea benedixit te Deus in æternum.

⁴Accingere gladio tuo super femur tuum, potentissime.

⁵Specie tua et pulchritudine tua intende, prospere procede, et regna, propter veritatem, et mansuetudinem, et justitiam; et deducet te mirabiliter dextera tua.

⁶Sagittæ tuæ acutæ: populi sub te cadent, in corda inimicorum regis.

⁷Sedes tua, Deus, in sæculum sæculi; virga directionis virga regni tui.

⁸Dilexisti justitiam, et odisti iniquitatem; propterea unxit te Deus, Deus tuus, oleo lætitiæ, præ consortibus tuis.

⁹Myrrha, et gutta, et casia a vestimentis tuis, a domibus eburneis; ex quibus delectaverunt te

¹⁰filiæ regum in honore tuo. Astitit regina a dextris tuis in vestitu deaurato, circumdata varietate.

¹¹Audi, filia, et vide, et inclina aurem tuam; et obliviscere populum tuum, et domum patris tui.

¹²Et concupiscet rex decorem tuum, quoniam ipse est Dominus Deus tuus, et adorabunt eum.

¹³Et filiæ Tyri in muneribus vultum tuum deprecabuntur; omnes divites plebis.

¹⁴Omnis gloria ejus filiæ regis ab intus, in fimbriis aureis,

¹⁵circumamicta varietatibus. Adducentur regi virgines post eam; proximæ ejus afferentur tibi.

¹⁶Afferentur in lætitia et exsultatione; adducentur in templum regis.

¹⁷Pro patribus tuis nati sunt tibi filii; constitues eos principes super omnem terram.

¹⁸Memores erunt nominis tui in omni generatione et generationem: propterea populi confitebuntur tibi in æternum, et in sæculum sæculi.

¹Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ὑπὲρ τῶν ἀλλοιωθησομένων· τοῖς υἱοῖς Κόρε εἰς σύνεσιν· ᾠδὴ ὑπὲρ τοῦ ἀγαπητοῦ.

²Ἐξηρεύξατο ἡ καρδία μου λόγον ἀγαθόν, λέγω ἐγὼ τὰ ἔργα μου τῷ βασιλεῖ· ἡ γλῶσσά μου κάλαμος γραμματέως ὀξυγράφου.

³ὡραῖος κάλλει παρὰ τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων, ἐξεχύθη ἡ χάρις ἐν χείλεσίν σου· διὰ τοῦτο εὐλόγησέν σε ὁ θεὸς εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.

⁴περιζώσαι τὴν ῥομφαίαν σου ἐπὶ τὸν μηρόν σου, Δυνατέ, τῇ ὡραιότητί σου καὶ τῷ κάλλει σου,

⁵καὶ ἔντεινον, καὶ κατευοδοῦ καὶ βασίλευε ἕνεκεν ἀληθείας καὶ πραύτητος καὶ δικαιοσύνης, καὶ ὁδηγήσει σε θαυμαστῶς ἡ δεξιά σου.

⁶τὰ βέλη σου ἠκονημένα, Δυνατέ· λαοὶ ὑποκάτω σου πεσοῦνται ἐν καρδίᾳ τῶν ἐχθρῶν τοῦ βασιλέως.

⁷ὁ θρόνος σου, ὁ θεός, εἰς αἰῶνα αἰῶνος, ῥάβδος εὐθύτητος ἡ ῥάβδος τῆς βασιλείας σου.

⁸ἠγάπησας δικαιοσύνην καὶ ἐμίσησας ἀνομίαν· διὰ τοῦτο ἔχρισέν σε ὁ θεός, ὁ θεός σου, ἔλαιον ἀγαλλιάσεως παρὰ τοὺς μετόχους σου.

⁹σμύρνα καὶ στακτὴ καὶ κασία ἀπὸ τῶν ἱματίων σου, ἀπὸ βάρεων ἐλεφαντίνων, ἐξ ὧν ηὔφρανάν σε.

¹⁰θυγατέρες βασιλέων ἐν τῇ τιμῇ σου· παρέστη ἡ βασίλισσα ἐκ δεξιῶν σου, ἐν ἱματισμῷ διαχρύσῳ περιβεβλημένη πεποικιλμένη.

¹¹ἄκουσον, θύγατερ, καὶ ἴδε καὶ κλῖνον τὸ οὖς σου, καὶ ἐπιλάθου τοῦ λαοῦ σου καὶ τοῦ οἴκου τοῦ πατρός σου·

¹²ὅτι ἐπεθύμησεν ὁ βασιλεὺς τοῦ κάλλους σου, ὅτι αὐτός ἐστιν ὁ κύριός σου.

¹³καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν αὐτῷ θυγατέρες Τύρου ἐν δώροις, τὸ πρόσωπόν σου λιτανεύσουσιν οἱ πλούσιοι τοῦ λαοῦ τῆς γῆς.

¹⁴πᾶσα ἡ δόξα αὐτῆς θυγατρὸς βασιλέως Ἑσεβών· ἐν κροσωτοῖς χρυσοῖς περιβεβλημένη πεποικιλμένη.

¹⁵ἀπενεχθήσονται τῷ βασιλεῖ παρθένοι ὀπίσω αὐτῆς, αἱ πλησίον αὐτῆς ἀπενεχθήσονταί σοι·

¹⁶ἀπενεχθήσονται ἐν εὐφροσύνῃ καὶ ἀγαλλιάσει, ἀχθήσονται εἰς ναὸν βασιλέως.

¹⁷ἀντὶ τῶν πατέρων σου ἐγεννήθησάν σοι υἱοί· καταστήσεις αὐτοὺς ἄρχοντας ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν.

¹⁸μνησθήσονται τοῦ ὀνόματός σου ἐν πάσῃ γενεᾷ καὶ γενεᾷ· διὰ τοῦτο λαοὶ ἐξομολογήσονταὶ σοι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος·
