Salmo 34

¹Salmo de Davi, quando ele mudou seu comportamento perante Abimeleque, que o expulsou, e ele foi embora: Louvarei ao SENHOR em todo tempo; haverá louvor a ele continuamente em minha boca.

²Minha alma se orgulhará no SENHOR; os humildes ouvirão, e se alegrarão.

³Engrandecei ao SENHOR comigo, e juntos exaltemos o seu nome.

⁴Busquei ao SENHOR. Ele me respondeu, e me livrou de todos os meus temores.

⁵Os que olham para ele ficam visivelmente alegres, e seus rostos não são envergonhados.

⁶Este miserável clamou, e o SENHOR ouviu; e ele o salvou de todas as suas angústias.

⁷O anjo do SENHOR fica ao redor daqueles que o temem, e os livra.

⁸Experimentai, e vede que o SENHOR é bom; bem-aventurado é o homem que confia nele.

⁹Temei ao SENHOR vós, os seus santos; porque nada falta para aqueles que o temem.

¹⁰Os filhos dos leões passam necessidades e têm fome; mas os que buscam ao SENHOR não têm falta de bem algum.

¹¹Vinde, filhos, ouvi a mim; eu vos ensinarei o temor ao SENHOR.

¹²Quem é o homem que deseja vida, que ama viver por muitos dias, para ver o bem?

¹³Guarda a tua língua do mal, e os teus lábios de falar falsidade.

¹⁴Desvia-te do mal, e faze o bem; busca a paz, e segue-a.

¹⁵Os olhos do SENHOR estão sobre os justos, e seus ouvidos atentos ao seu clamor.

¹⁶A face do SENHOR está contra aqueles que fazem o mal, para tirar da terra a memória deles.

¹⁷Os justos clamam, e o SENHOR os ouve. Ele os livra de todas as suas angústias.

¹⁸O SENHOR está perto daqueles que estão com o coração partido, e sava os aflitos de espírito.

¹⁹Muitas são as adversidades do justo, mas o SENHOR o livra de todas elas.

²⁰Ele guarda todos os seus ossos; nenhum deles é quebrado.

²¹O mal matará o perverso, e os que odeiam o justo serão condenados.

²²O SENHOR resgata a alma de seus servos, e todos os que nele confiam não receberão condenação.

¹A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

²My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

³O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

⁴I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

⁵They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

⁶This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

⁷The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

⁸O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

⁹O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

¹⁰The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

¹¹Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

¹²What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

¹³Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

¹⁴Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

¹⁵The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

¹⁶The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

¹⁷The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

¹⁸The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

¹⁹Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

²⁰He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

²¹Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

²²The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

¹Davidi, cum immutavit vultum suum coram Achimelech, et dimisit eum, et abiit.

²Benedicam Dominum in omni tempore; semper laus ejus in ore meo.

³In Domino laudabitur anima mea: audiant mansueti, et lætentur.

⁴Magnificate Dominum mecum, et exaltemus nomen ejus in idipsum.

⁵Exquisivi Dominum, et exaudivit me; et ex omnibus tribulationibus meis eripuit me.

⁶Accedite ad eum, et illuminamini; et facies vestræ non confundentur.

⁷Iste pauper clamavit, et Dominus exaudivit eum, et de omnibus tribulationibus ejus salvavit eum.

⁸Immittet angelus Domini in circuitu timentium eum, et eripiet eos.

⁹Gustate et videte quoniam suavis est Dominus; beatus vir qui sperat in eo.

¹⁰Timete Dominum, omnes sancti ejus, quoniam non est inopia timentibus eum.

¹¹Divites eguerunt, et esurierunt; inquirentes autem Dominum non minuentur omni bono.

¹²Venite, filii; audite me: timorem Domini docebo vos.

¹³Quis est homo qui vult vitam; diligit dies videre bonos?

¹⁴Prohibe linguam tuam a malo, et labia tua ne loquantur dolum.

¹⁵Diverte a malo, et fac bonum; inquire pacem, et persequere eam.

¹⁶Oculi Domini super justos, et aures ejus in preces eorum.

¹⁷Vultus autem Domini super facientes mala, ut perdat de terra memoriam eorum.

¹⁸Clamaverunt justi, et Dominus exaudivit eos; et ex omnibus tribulationibus eorum liberavit eos.

¹⁹Juxta est Dominus iis qui tribulato sunt corde, et humiles spiritu salvabit.

²⁰Multæ tribulationes justorum; et de omnibus his liberabit eos Dominus.

²¹Custodit Dominus omnia ossa eorum: unum ex his non conteretur.

²²Mors peccatorum pessima; et qui oderunt justum delinquent.

²³Redimet Dominus animas servorum suorum, et non delinquent omnes qui sperant in eo.

¹Τῷ Δαυείδ, ὁπότε ἠλλοίωσεν τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ ἐναντίον Ἀβειμέλεχ, καὶ ἀπέλυσεν αὐτόν, καὶ ἀπῆλθεν.

²Εὐλογήσω τὸν κύριον ἐν παντὶ καιρῷ, διὰ παντὸς ἡ αἴνεσις αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ στόματί μου.

³ἐν τῷ κυρίῳ ἐπαινεσθήσεται ἡ ψυχή μου· ἀκουσάτωσαν πρᾳεῖς καὶ εὐφρανθήτωσαν.

⁴μεγαλύνατε τὸν κύριον σὺν ἐμοί, καὶ ὑψώσωμεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό.

⁵ἐξεζήτησα τὸν κύριον, καὶ ἐπήκουσέν μου καὶ ἐκ πασῶν τῶν παροικιῶν μου ἐρύσατό με.

⁶προσέλθατε πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ φωτίσθητε, καὶ τὰ πρόσωπα ὑμῶν οὐ μὴ καταισχυνθῇ·

⁷οὗτος ὁ πτωχὸς ἐκέκραξεν, καὶ ὁ κύριος εἰσήκουσεν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐκ πασῶν τῶν θλίψεων αὐτοῦ ἔσωσεν αὐτόν.

⁸παρεμβαλεῖ ἄγγελος Κυρίου κύκλῳ τῶν φοβουμένων αὐτὸν καὶ ῥύσεται αὐτούς.

⁹γεύσασθε καὶ ἴδετε ὅτι χρηστὸς ὁ κύριος· μακάριος ἀνὴρ ὃς ἐλπίζει ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν.

¹⁰φοβήθητε τὸν κύριον πάντες οἱ ἅγιοι αὐτοῦ, ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ὑστέρημα τοῖς φοβουμένοις αὐτόν.

¹¹πλούσιοι ἐπτώχευσαν καὶ ἐπείνασαν, οἱ δὲ ἐκζητοῦντες τὸν κύριον οὐκ ἐλαττωθήσονται παντὸς ἀγαθοῦ. διάψαλμα.

¹²δεῦτε, τέκνα, ἀκούσατέ μου, φόβον Κυρίου διδάξω ὑμᾶς.

¹³τίς ἐστιν ἄνθρωπος ὁ θέλων ζωήν, ἀγαπῶν ἰδεῖν ἡμέρας ἀγαθάς;

¹⁴παῦσον τὴν γλῶσσάν σου ἀπὸ κακοῦ, καὶ χείλη τοῦ μὴ λαλῆσαι δόλον·

¹⁵ἔκκλινον ἀπὸ κακοῦ καὶ ποίησον ἀγαθόν, ζήτησον εἰρήνην καὶ δίωξον αὐτήν.

¹⁶ὅτι ὀφθαλμοὶ Κυρίου ἐπὶ δικαίους, καὶ ὦτα αὐτοῦ εἰς δέησιν αὐτῶν·

¹⁷πρόσωπον δὲ Κυρίου ἐπὶ ποιοῦντας κακά, τοῦ ἐξολεθρεῦσαι ἐκ γῆς τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῶν.

¹⁸ἐκέκραξαν οἱ δίκαιοι, καὶ ὁ κύριος εἰσήκουσεν αὐτῶν καὶ ἐκ πασῶν τῶν θλίψεων αὐτῶν ἐρύσατο αὐτούς.

¹⁹ἐγγὺς Κύριος τοῖς συντετριμμένοις τὴν καρδίαν, καὶ τοὺς ταπεινοὺς τῷ πνεύματι σώσει.

²⁰πολλαὶ αἱ θλίψεις τῶν δικαίων, καὶ ἐκ πασῶν αὐτῶν ῥύσεται αὐτούς.

²¹Κύριος φυλάσσει πάντα τὰ ὀστᾶ αὐτῶν, ἓν ἐξ αὐτῶν οὐ συντριβήσεται.

²²θάνατος ἁμαρτωλῶν πονηρός, καὶ οἱ μισοῦντες τὸν δίκαιον πλημμελήσουσιν.

²³λυτρώσεται Κύριος ψυχὰς δούλων αὐτοῦ, καὶ οὐ μὴ πλημμελήσουσιν πάντες οἱ ἐλπίζοντες ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν.
