Salmo 23

¹Salmo de Davi: O SENHOR é meu pastor, nada me faltará.

²Ele me faz deitar em pastos verdes, e me leva a águas quietas.

³Ele restaura minha alma, e me guia pelos caminhos da justiça por seu nome.

⁴Ainda que eu venha a andar pelo vale da sombra da morte, não temerei mal algum, porque tu estás comigo; tua vara e teu cajado me consolam.

⁵Tu preparas uma mesa diante de mim à vista de meus adversários; unges a minha cabeça com azeite, meu cálice transborda.

⁶Certamente o bem e a bondade me seguirão todos os dias de minha vida; e habitarei na casa do SENHOR por muitos e muitos dias.

¹A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

²He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

³He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

⁴Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

⁵Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

⁶Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

¹Psalmus David. Dominus regit me, et nihil mihi deerit:

²in loco pascuæ, ibi me collocavit. Super aquam refectionis educavit me;

³animam meam convertit. Deduxit me super semitas justitiæ propter nomen suum.

⁴Nam etsi ambulavero in medio umbræ mortis, non timebo mala, quoniam tu mecum es. Virga tua, et baculus tuus, ipsa me consolata sunt.

⁵Parasti in conspectu meo mensam adversus eos qui tribulant me; impinguasti in oleo caput meum: et calix meus inebrians, quam præclarus est!

⁶Et misericordia tua subsequetur me omnibus diebus vitæ meæ; et ut inhabitem in domo Domini in longitudinem dierum.

¹Ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυείδ. Κύριος ποιμαίνει με, καὶ οὐδέν με ὑστερήσει.

²εἰς τόπον χλόης, ἐκεῖ με κατεσκήνωσεν· ἐπὶ ὕδατος ἀναπαύσεως ἐξέθρεψέν με·

³τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐπέστρεψεν. ὡδήγησέν με ἐπὶ τρίβους δικαιοσύνης ἕνεκεν τοῦ ὀνόματος αὐτοῦ.

⁴ἐὰν γὰρ καὶ πορευθῶ ἐν μέσῳ σκιᾶς θανάτου, οὐ φοβηθήσομαι κακά, ὅτι σὺ μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ εἶ· ἡ ῥάβδος σου καὶ ἡ βακτηρία σου, αὐταί με παρεκάλεσαν.

⁵ἡτοίμασας ἐνώπιόν μου τράπεζαν ἐξ ἐναντίας τῶν θλιβόντων με· ἐλίπανας ἐν ἐλαίῳ τὴν κεφαλήν μου, καὶ τὸ ποτήριόν σου μεθύσκον ὡς κράτιστον.

⁶καὶ τὸ ἔλεός σου καταδιώξεταί με πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ζωῆς μου, καὶ τὸ κατοικεῖν με ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου εἰς μακρότητα ἡμερῶν.
