Salmo 19

¹Salmo de Davi, para o regente: Os céus declaram a glória de Deus; e o firmamento anuncia a obra de suas mãos.

²Dia após dia ele fala; e noite após noite ele mostra sabedoria.

³Não há língua, nem palavras, onde não se ouça a voz deles.

⁴Por toda a terra sai sua corda, e suas palavras até o fim do mundo; para o sol ele pôs uma tenda neles.

⁵E ele é como o noivo, que sai de sua câmara; e se alegra como um homem valente, para correr seu caminho.

⁶Desde uma extremidade dos céus é sua saída, e seu curso até as outras extremidades deles; e nada se esconde de seu calor.

⁷A lei do SENHOR é perfeita, e restaura a alma; o testemunho do SENHOR é fiel, e da sabedoria aos simples.

⁸Os preceitos do SENHOR são corretos, e alegram ao coração; o mandamento do SENHOR é puro, e ilumina aos olhos.

⁹O temor ao SENHOR é limpo, e permanece para sempre; os juízos do SENHOR são verdade; juntamente são justos.

¹⁰São mais desejáveis que ouro, mais do que muito ouro fino; e mais doces que o mel, e o licor de seus favos.

¹¹Também por eles teu servo é advertido; por guardá-los, há muita recompensa.

¹²Quem pode entender seus próprios erros? Limpa-me dos que me são ocultos.

¹³Também retém a teu servo de arrogâncias, para que elas não me controlem; então eu serei sincero, e ficarei limpo de grande transgressão.

¹⁴Sejam agradáveis as palavras de minha boca, e o pensamento do meu coração, diante de ti, ó SENHOR, minha rocha e meu Libertador.

¹To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

²Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

³There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

⁴Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

⁵Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

⁶His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

⁷The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

⁸The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

⁹The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

¹⁰More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

¹¹Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

¹²Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

¹³Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

¹⁴Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

²Cæli enarrant gloriam Dei, et opera manuum ejus annuntiat firmamentum.

³Dies diei eructat verbum, et nox nocti indicat scientiam.

⁴Non sunt loquelæ, neque sermones, quorum non audiantur voces eorum.

⁵In omnem terram exivit sonus eorum, et in fines orbis terræ verba eorum.

⁶In sole posuit tabernaculum suum; et ipse tamquam sponsus procedens de thalamo suo. Exsultavit ut gigas ad currendam viam;

⁷a summo cælo egressio ejus. Et occursus ejus usque ad summum ejus; nec est qui se abscondat a calore ejus.

⁸Lex Domini immaculata, convertens animas; testimonium Domini fidele, sapientiam præstans parvulis.

⁹Justitiæ Domini rectæ, lætificantes corda; præceptum Domini lucidum, illuminans oculos.

¹⁰Timor Domini sanctus, permanens in sæculum sæculi; judicia Domini vera, justificata in semetipsa,

¹¹desiderabilia super aurum et lapidem pretiosum multum, et dulciora super mel et favum.

¹²Etenim servus tuus custodit ea; in custodiendis illis retributio multa.

¹³Delicta quis intelligit? ab occultis meis munda me;

¹⁴et ab alienis parce servo tuo. Si mei non fuerint dominati, tunc immaculatus ero, et emundabor a delicto maximo.

¹⁵Et erunt ut complaceant eloquia oris mei, et meditatio cordis mei in conspectu tuo semper. Domine, adjutor meus, et redemptor meus.

¹Εἰς τὸ τέλος· ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυείδ.

²Οἱ οὐρανοὶ διηγοῦνται δόξαν θεοῦ, ποίησιν δὲ χειρῶν αὐτοῦ ἀναγγέλλει τὸ στερέωμα.

³ἡμέρα τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐρεύγεται ῥῆμα, καὶ νὺξ νυκτὶ ἀναγγέλλει γνῶσιν.

⁴οὐκ εἰσὶν λαλιαὶ οὐδὲ λόγοι ὧν οὐχὶ ἀκούονται αἱ φωναὶ αὐτῶν·

⁵εἰς πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν ἐξῆλθεν ὁ φθόγγος αὐτῶν, καὶ εἰς τὰ πέρατα τῆς οἰκουμένης τὰ ῥήματα αὐτῶν.

⁶ἐν τῷ ἡλίῳ ἔθετο τὸ σκήνωμα αὐτοῦ· καὶ αὐτὸς ὡς νυμφίος ἐκπορευόμενος ἐκ παστοῦ αὐτοῦ, ἀγαλλιάσεται ὡς γίγας δραμεῖν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ.

⁷ἀπ᾽ ἄκρου τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἡ ἔξοδος αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὸ κατάντημα αὐτοῦ ἕως ἄκρου τοῦ οὐρανοῦ· καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὃς ἀποκρυβήσεται τὴν θέρμην αὐτοῦ.

⁸ὁ νόμος τοῦ κυρίου ἄμωμος, ἐπιστρέφων ψυχάς· ἡ μαρτυρία Κυρίου πιστή, σοφίζουσα νήπια.

⁹τὰ δικαιώματα Κυρίου εὐθεῖα, εὐφραίνοντα καρδίαν· ἡ ἐντολὴ Κυρίου τηλαυγής, φωτίζουσα ὀφθαλμούς.

¹⁰ὁ φόβος Κυρίου ἁγνός, διαμένων εἰς αἰῶνα αἰῶνος· τὰ κρίματα Κυρίου ἀληθινά, δεδικαιωμένα ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό,

¹¹ἐπιθυμητὰ ὑπὲρ χρυσίον καὶ λίθον τίμιον πολὺν καὶ γλυκύτερα ὑπὲρ μέλι καὶ κηρίον.

¹²καὶ γὰρ ὁ δοῦλός σου φυλάσσει αὐτά· ἐν τῷ φυλάσσειν αὐτὰ ἀνταπόδοσις πολλή.

¹³παραπτώματα τίς συνήσει; ἐκ τῶν κρυφίων μου καθάρισόν με,

¹⁴καὶ ἀπὸ ἀλλοτρίων φεῖσαι τοῦ δούλου σου· ἐὰν μή μου κατακυριεύσουσιν, τότε ἄμωμος ἔσομαι καὶ καθαρισθήσομαι ἀπὸ ἁμαρτίας μεγάλης.

¹⁵καὶ ἔσονται εἰς εὐδοκίαν τὰ λόγια τοῦ στόματός μου καὶ ἡ μελέτη τῆς καρδίας μου ἐνώπιόν σου διὰ παντός, Κύριε, βοηθέ μου καὶ λυτρωτά μου.
