Salmo 18

¹Para o regente. Do servo do SENHOR, chamado Davi, o qual falou as palavras deste cântico ao SENHOR, no dia em que o SENHOR o livrou das mãos de todos os seus inimigos, e das mãos de Saul. Ele disse: Eu te amarei, SENHOR, tu és minha força.

²O SENHOR é minha rocha, e minha fortaleza, e meu libertador, meu Deus, meu rochedo, em quem confio; é meu escudo, e a força da minha salvação, meu alto refúgio.

³Eu clamei ao SENHOR digno de louvor; e fiquei livre de meus inimigos.

⁴Cordas de morte me cercaram; e riachos de maldade me encheram de medo.

⁵Cordas do mundo dos mortos me envolveram; laços de morte me confrontaram.

⁶Em minha angústia, clamei ao SENHOR, e roguei a meu Deus; desde o seu Templo ele ouviu a minha voz; e o meu clamor diante de seu rosto chegou aos ouvidos dele.

⁷Então a terra de abalou e tremeu; e os fundamentos dos montes de moveram e foram abalados, porque ele se irritou.

⁸Fumaça subiu de seu nariz, e fogo consumidor saiu de sua boca; carvões foram acesos por ele.

⁹Ele moveu os céus, e desceu; e as trevas estavam debaixo de seus pés.

¹⁰Ele montou sobre um querubim, e fez seu voo; e voou veloz sobre as assas do vento.

¹¹Ele pôs as trevas como seu esconderijo; pôs a sua tenda ao redor dele; trevas das águas, nuvens dos céus.

¹²Do brilho de sua presença suas nuvens se espalharam, e também a saraiva, e as brasas de fogo.

¹³E o SENHOR trovejou nos céus; e o Altíssimo soltou sua voz; saraiva e brasas de fogo caíram.

¹⁴Ele mandou suas flechas, e os dispersou; e lançou muitos raios, e os perturbou.

¹⁵E as profundezas das águas foram vistas, e os fundamentos do mundo foram descobertos por tua repreensão, SENHOR, pelo sopro do vento do teu nariz.

¹⁶Desde o alto ele enviou, e me tomou; tirou-me de muitas águas.

¹⁷Ele me livrou do meu forte inimigo, e daqueles que me odeiam; porque eles eram mais poderosos do que eu.

¹⁸Eles me confrontaram no dia de minha calamidade; mas o SENHOR ficou junto de mim.

¹⁹Ele me tirou para um lugar amplo; ele me libertou, porque se agradou de mim.

²⁰O SENHOR me recompensou conforme a minha justiça; conforme a pureza das minhas mãos ele me retribuiu.

²¹Porque eu guardei os caminhos do SENHOR; nem me afastei do meu Deus praticando o mal.

²²Porque todos os juízos dele estavam diante de mim; e não rejeitei seus estatutos para mim.

²³Mas eu fui fiel com ele; e tomei cuidado contra minha maldade.

²⁴Assim o SENHOR me recompensou conforme a minha justiça; conforme a pureza de minhas mãos perante seus olhos.

²⁵Com o bondoso tu te mostras bondoso; e com o homem fiel tu te mostras fiel.

²⁶Com o puro tu te mostras puro; mas com o perverso tu te mostras agressivo.

²⁷Porque tu livras ao povo aflito, e humilhas aos olhos que se exaltam.

²⁸Porque tu acendes minha lâmpada; o SENHOR meu Deus ilumina as minhas trevas.

²⁹Porque contigo eu marcho contra um exército; e com meu Deus eu salto um muro.

³⁰O caminho de Deus é perfeito; a palavra do SENHOR é refinada; ele é escudo para todos os que nele confiam.

³¹Porque quem é Deus, a não ser o SENHOR? E quem é rocha, a não ser o nosso Deus?

³²Deus é o que me veste de força; e o que dá perfeição ao meu caminho.

³³Ele faz meus pés como o das cervas; e me põe em meus lugares altos.

³⁴Ele ensina minhas mãos para a guerra, de modo que um arco de bronze se quebra em meus braços.

³⁵Também tu me deste o escudo de tua salvação, e tua mão direita me sustentou; e tua mansidão me engrandeceu.

³⁶Tu alargaste os meus passos abaixo de mim; e meus pés não vacilaram.

³⁷Persegui a meus inimigos, e eu os alcancei; e não voltei até os exterminá-los.

³⁸Eu os perfurei, que não puderam mais se levantar; caíram debaixo dos meus pés.

³⁹Porque tu me preparaste com força para a batalha; fizeste se curvarem abaixo de mim aqueles que contra mim tinham se levantado.

⁴⁰E tu me deste a nuca de meus inimigos; destruí aos que me odiavam.

⁴¹Eles clamaram, mas não havia quem os livrasse; clamaram até ao SENHOR, mas ele não lhes respondeu.

⁴²Então eu os reduzi a pó, como a poeira ao vento; eu os joguei fora como a lama das ruas.

⁴³Tu me livraste das brigas do povo; tu me puseste como cabeça das nações; o povo que eu não conhecia me serviu.

⁴⁴Ao me ouvirem, logo me obedeceram; estrangeiros se sujeitaram a mim.

⁴⁵Estrangeiros se enfraqueceram; e tremeram de medo desde suas extremidades.

⁴⁶O SENHOR vive, e bendito seja minha rocha; e exaltado seja o Deus de minha salvação;

⁴⁷O Deus que dá minha vingança, e sujeita aos povos debaixo de mim;

⁴⁸Aquele que me livra dos meus inimigos; tu também me exaltas sobre aqueles que se levantam contra mim; tu me livras do homem violento.

⁴⁹Por isso, SENHOR, eu te louvarei entre as nações, e cantarei ao teu Nome;

⁵⁰Que faz grandes as salvações de seu Rei, e pratica a bondade para com o seu ungido, com Davi, e sua semente, para sempre.

¹To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of the Lord, who spake unto the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said, I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.

²The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

³I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

⁴The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.

⁵The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.

⁶In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

⁷Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.

⁸There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

⁹He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.

¹⁰And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.

¹¹He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

¹²At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.

¹³The Lord also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

¹⁴Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.

¹⁵Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.

¹⁶He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

¹⁷He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

¹⁸They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the Lord was my stay.

¹⁹He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

²⁰The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

²¹For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

²²For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.

²³I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.

²⁴Therefore hath the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

²⁵With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;

²⁶With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.

²⁷For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.

²⁸For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.

²⁹For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

³⁰As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

³¹For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?

³²It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.

³³He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.

³⁴He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

³⁵Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

³⁶Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.

³⁷I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.

³⁸I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.

³⁹For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.

⁴⁰Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.

⁴¹They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the Lord, but he answered them not.

⁴²Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

⁴³Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.

⁴⁴As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

⁴⁵The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.

⁴⁶The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

⁴⁷It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.

⁴⁸He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

⁴⁹Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.

⁵⁰Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

¹In finem. Puero Domini David, qui locutus est Domino verba cantici hujus, in die qua eripuit eum Dominus de manu omnium inimicorum ejus, et de manu Saul, et dixit:

²Diligam te, Domine, fortitudo mea.

³Dominus firmamentum meum, et refugium meum, et liberator meus. Deus meus adjutor meus, et sperabo in eum; protector meus, et cornu salutis meæ, et susceptor meus.

⁴Laudans invocabo Dominum, et ab inimicis meis salvus ero.

⁵Circumdederunt me dolores mortis, et torrentes iniquitatis conturbaverunt me.

⁶Dolores inferni circumdederunt me; præoccupaverunt me laquei mortis.

⁷In tribulatione mea invocavi Dominum, et ad Deum meum clamavi: et exaudivit de templo sancto suo vocem meam; et clamor meus in conspectu ejus introivit in aures ejus.

⁸Commota est, et contremuit terra; fundamenta montium conturbata sunt, et commota sunt: quoniam iratus est eis.

⁹Ascendit fumus in ira ejus, et ignis a facie ejus exarsit; carbones succensi sunt ab eo.

¹⁰Inclinavit cælos, et descendit, et caligo sub pedibus ejus.

¹¹Et ascendit super cherubim, et volavit; volavit super pennas ventorum.

¹²Et posuit tenebras latibulum suum; in circuitu ejus tabernaculum ejus, tenebrosa aqua in nubibus aëris.

¹³Præ fulgore in conspectu ejus nubes transierunt; grando et carbones ignis.

¹⁴Et intonuit de cælo Dominus, et Altissimus dedit vocem suam: grando et carbones ignis.

¹⁵Et misit sagittas suas, et dissipavit eos; fulgura multiplicavit, et conturbavit eos.

¹⁶Et apparuerunt fontes aquarum, et revelata sunt fundamenta orbis terrarum, ab increpatione tua, Domine, ab inspiratione spiritus iræ tuæ.

¹⁷Misit de summo, et accepit me; et assumpsit me de aquis multis.

¹⁸Eripuit me de inimicis meis fortissimis, et ab his qui oderunt me. Quoniam confortati sunt super me;

¹⁹prævenerunt me in die afflictionis meæ: et factus est Dominus protector meus.

²⁰Et eduxit me in latitudinem; salvum me fecit, quoniam voluit me,

²¹et retribuet mihi Dominus secundum justitiam meam, et secundum puritatem manuum mearum retribuet mihi:

²²quia custodivi vias Domini, nec impie gessi a Deo meo;

²³quoniam omnia judicia ejus in conspectu meo, et justitias ejus non repuli a me.

²⁴Et ero immaculatus cum eo; et observabo me ab iniquitate mea.

²⁵Et retribuet mihi Dominus secundum justitiam meam, et secundum puritatem manuum mearum in conspectu oculorum ejus.

²⁶Cum sancto sanctus eris, et cum viro innocente innocens eris,

²⁷et cum electo electus eris, et cum perverso perverteris.

²⁸Quoniam tu populum humilem salvum facies, et oculos superborum humiliabis.

²⁹Quoniam tu illuminas lucernam meam, Domine; Deus meus, illumina tenebras meas.

³⁰Quoniam in te eripiar a tentatione; et in Deo meo transgrediar murum.

³¹Deus meus, impolluta via ejus; eloquia Domini igne examinata: protector est omnium sperantium in se.

³²Quoniam quis deus præter Dominum? aut quis deus præter Deum nostrum?

³³Deus qui præcinxit me virtute, et posuit immaculatam viam meam;

³⁴qui perfecit pedes meos tamquam cervorum, et super excelsa statuens me;

³⁵qui docet manus meas ad prælium. Et posuisti, ut arcum æreum, brachia mea,

³⁶et dedisti mihi protectionem salutis tuæ: et dextera tua suscepit me, et disciplina tua correxit me in finem, et disciplina tua ipsa me docebit.

³⁷Dilatasti gressus meos subtus me, et non sunt infirmata vestigia mea.

³⁸Persequar inimicos meos, et comprehendam illos; et non convertar donec deficiant.

³⁹Confringam illos, nec poterunt stare; cadent subtus pedes meos.

⁴⁰Et præcinxisti me virtute ad bellum, et supplantasti insurgentes in me subtus me.

⁴¹Et inimicos meos dedisti mihi dorsum, et odientes me disperdidisti.

⁴²Clamaverunt, nec erat qui salvos faceret; ad Dominum, nec exaudivit eos.

⁴³Et comminuam eos ut pulverem ante faciem venti; ut lutum platearum delebo eos.

⁴⁴Eripies me de contradictionibus populi; constitues me in caput gentium.

⁴⁵Populus quem non cognovi servivit mihi; in auditu auris obedivit mihi.

⁴⁶Filii alieni mentiti sunt mihi, filii alieni inveterati sunt, et claudicaverunt a semitis suis.

⁴⁷Vivit Dominus, et benedictus Deus meus, et exaltetur Deus salutis meæ.

⁴⁸Deus qui das vindictas mihi, et subdis populos sub me; liberator meus de inimicis meis iracundis.

⁴⁹Et ab insurgentibus in me exaltabis me; a viro iniquo eripies me.

⁵⁰Propterea confitebor tibi in nationibus, Domine, et nomini tuo psalmum dicam;

⁵¹magnificans salutes regis ejus, et faciens misericordiam christo suo David, et semini ejus usque in sæculum.

¹Εἰς τὸ τέλος· τῷ παιδὶ Κυρίου τῷ Δαυείδ, ἃ ἐλάλησεν τῷ κυρίῳ τοὺς λόγους τῆς ᾠδῆς ταύτης ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἐρύσατο αὐτὸν Κύριος ἐκ χειρὸς πάντων τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐκ χειρὸς Σαούλ·

²καὶ εἶπεν· Ἀγαπήσω σε, Κύριε ἰσχύς μου.

³Κύριος στερέωμά μου καὶ καταφυγή μου καὶ ῥύστης μου· ὁ θεός μου βοηθός, καὶ ἐλπιῶ ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν· ὑπερασπιστής μου καὶ κέρας σωτηρίας, ἀντιλήμπτωρ μου.

⁴αἰνῶν ἐπικαλέσομαι Κύριον, καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου σωθήσομαι.

⁵περιέσχον με ὠδῖνες θανάτου, καὶ χείμαρροι ἀνομίας ἐξετάραξάν με·

⁶ὠδῖνες ᾅδου περιεκύκλωσάν με, προέφθασάν με παγίδες θανάτου.

⁷καὶ ἐν τῷ θλίβεσθαί με ἐπεκαλεσάμην τὸν κύριον, καὶ πρὸς τὸν θεόν μου ἐκέκραξα· ἤκουσεν ἐκ ναοῦ ἁγίου αὐτοῦ φωνῆς μου, καὶ ἡ κραυγή μου ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὰ ὦτα αὐτοῦ.

⁸καὶ ἐσαλεύθη καὶ ἔντρομος ἐγενήθη ἡ γῆ, καὶ τὰ θεμέλια τῶν ὀρέων ἐταράχθησαν καὶ ἐσαλεύθησαν, ὅτι ὠργίσθη αὐτοῖς ὁ θεός.

⁹ἀνέβη καπνὸς ἐν ὀργῇ αὐτοῦ, καὶ πῦρ ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ κατεφλόγισεν, ἄνθρακες ἀνήφθησαν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ.

¹⁰καὶ ἔκλινεν οὐρανὸν καὶ κατέβη, καὶ γνόφος ὑπὸ τοὺς πόδας αὐτοῦ.

¹¹καὶ ἐπέβη ἐπὶ χερουβεὶν καὶ ἐπετάσθη, ἐπετάσθη ἐπὶ πτερύγων ἀνέμων.

¹²καὶ ἔθετο σκότος ἀποκρυφὴν αὐτοῦ, κύκλῳ αὐτοῦ ἡ σκηνὴ αὐτοῦ, σκοτινὸν ὕδωρ ἐν νεφέλαις ἀέρων.

¹³ἀπὸ τῆς τηλαυγήσεως ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ αἱ νεφέλαι διῆλθον, χάλαζα καὶ ἄνθρακες πυρός.

¹⁴καὶ ἐβρόντησεν ἐξ οὐρανοῦ Κύριος, καὶ ὁ ὕψιστος ἔδωκεν φωνὴν αὐτοῦ·

¹⁵καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν βέλη καὶ ἐσκόρπισεν αὐτούς, καὶ ἀστραπὰς ἐπλήθυνεν καὶ συνετάραξεν αὐτούς.

¹⁶καὶ ὤφθησαν αἱ πηγαὶ τῶν ὑδάτων, καὶ ἀνεκαλύφθη τὰ θεμέλια τῆς οἰκουμένης ἀπὸ ἐπιτιμήσεώς σου, Κύριε, ἀπὸ ἐνπνεύσεως πνεύματος ὀργῆς σου.

¹⁷ἐξαπέστειλεν ἐξ ὕψους καὶ ἔλαβέν με, προσέλαβε ἐξ ὑδάτων πολλῶν.

¹⁸ῥύσεταί με ἐξ ἐχθρῶν μου δυνατῶν καὶ ἐκ τῶν μισούντων με, ὅτι ἐστερεώθησαν ὑπὲρ ἐμέ.

¹⁹προέφθασάν με ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κακώσεώς μου, καὶ ἐγένετο Κύριος ἀντιστήριγμά μου,

²⁰καὶ ἐξήγαγέν με εἰς πλατυσμόν· ῥύσεταί με, ὅτι ἠθέλησέν με.

²¹ῥύσεταί με ἐξ ἐχθρῶν μου δυνατῶν καὶ ἐκ τῶν μισούντων με. καὶ ἀνταποδώσει μοι Κύριος κατὰ τὴν δικαιοσύνην μου, καὶ κατὰ τὴν καθαριότητα τῶν χειρῶν μου ἀνταποδώσει μοι.

²²ὅτι ἐφύλαξα τὰς ὁδοὺς Κυρίου, καὶ οὐκ ἠσέβησα ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ μου·

²³ὅτι πάντα τὰ κρίματα αὐτοῦ ἐνώπιόν μου, καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἀπέστησαν ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ.

²⁴καὶ ἔσομαι ἄμωμος μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ, καὶ φυλάξομαι ἀπὸ τῆς ἀνομίας μου.

²⁵καὶ ἀνταποδώσει μοι Κύριος κατὰ τὴν δικαιοσύνην μου καὶ κατὰ τὴν καθαριότητα τῶν χειρῶν μου ἐνώπιον τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν αὐτοῦ.

²⁶μετὰ ὁσίου ὁσιωθήσῃ, καὶ μετὰ ἀνδρὸς ἀθῴου ἀθῷος ἔσῃ,

²⁷καὶ μετὰ ἐκλεκτοῦ ἐκλεκτὸς ἔσῃ, καὶ μετὰ στρεβλοῦ διαστρέψεις.

²⁸ὅτι σὺ λαὸν ταπεινὸν σώσεις, καὶ ὀφθαλμοὺς ὑπερηφάνων ταπεινώσεις·

²⁹ὅτι σὺ φωτιεῖς λύχνον μου, Κύριε· ὁ θεός μου, φωτιεῖς τὸ σκότος μου.

³⁰ὅτι ἐν σοὶ ῥυσθήσομαι ἀπὸ πειρατηρίου, καὶ ἐν τῷ θεῷ μου ὑπερβήσομαι τεῖχος.

³¹ὁ θεός μου, ἄμωμος ἡ ὁδὸς αὐτοῦ, τὰ λόγια Κυρίου πεπυρωμένα, ὑπερασπιστής ἐστιν πάντων τῶν ἐλπιζόντων ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν.

³²ὅτι τίς θεὸς πλὴν τοῦ κυρίου; καὶ τίς θεὸς πλὴν τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν;

³³ὁ θεὸς ὁ περιζωννύων με δύναμιν, καὶ ἔθετο ἄμωμον τὴν ὁδόν μου·

³⁴ὁ καταρτιζόμενος τοὺς πόδας μου ὡς ἐλάφου, καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ ὑψηλὰ ἱστῶν με·

³⁵διδάσκων χεῖράς μου εἰς πόλεμον, καὶ ἔθου τόξον χαλκοῦν τοὺς βραχίονάς μου·

³⁶καὶ ἔδωκάς μοι ὑπερασπισμὸν σωτηρίας μου, καὶ ἡ δεξιά σου ἀντελάβετό μου· καὶ ἡ παιδία σου ἀνώρθωσέν με εἰς τέλος, καὶ ἡ παιδία σου, αὐτή με διδάξει.

³⁷ἐπλάτυνας τὰ διαβήματά μου ὑποκάτω μου, καὶ οὐκ ἠσθένησαν τὰ ἴχνη μου.

³⁸καταδιώξω τοὺς ἐχθρούς μου καὶ καταλήμψομαι αὐτούς, καὶ οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι ἕως ἂν ἐκλίπωσιν·

³⁹ἐκθλίψω αὐτοὺς καὶ οὐ μὴ δύνωνται στῆναι, πεσοῦνται ὑπὸ τοὺς πόδας μου.

⁴⁰καὶ περιέζωσάς με δύναμιν εἰς πόλεμον, συνεπόδισας πάντας τοὺς ἐπανιστανομένους ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ ὑποκάτω μου.

⁴¹καὶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς μου ἔδωκάς μοι νῶτον, καὶ τοὺς μισοῦντάς με ἐξωλέθρευσας.

⁴²ἐκέκραξαν, καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ σώζων· πρὸς Κύριον, καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσεν αὐτῶν.

⁴³καὶ λεπτυνῶ αὐτοὺς ὡς χνοῦν κατὰ πρόσωπον ἀνέμου, ὡς πηλὸν πλατειῶν λεανῶ αὐτούς.

⁴⁴ῥῦσαί με ἐξ ἀντιλογιῶν λαοῦ, καταστήσεις με εἰς κεφαλὴν ἐθνῶν· λαὸς ὃν οὐκ ἔγνων ἐδούλευσέν μοι,

⁴⁵εἰς ἀκοὴν ὠτίου ὑπήκουσέν μοι· υἱοὶ ἀλλότριοι ἐψεύσαντό μοι,

⁴⁶υἱοὶ ἀλλότριοι ἐπαλαιώθησαν καὶ ἐχώλαναν ἀπὸ τῶν τρίβων αὐτῶν.

⁴⁷ζῇ Κύριος, καὶ εὐλογητὸς ὁ θεός μου, καὶ ὑψωθήτω ὁ θεὸς τῆς σωτηρίας μου·

⁴⁸ὁ θεὸς ὁ διδοὺς ἐκδικήσεις ἐμοί, καὶ ὑποτάξας λαοὺς ὑπ᾽ ἐμέ,

⁴⁹ὁ ῥύστης μου ἐξ ἐχθρῶν ὀργίλων· ἀπὸ τῶν ἐπανιστανομένων ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ ὑψώσεις με, ἀπὸ ἀνδρὸς ἀδίκου ῥύσῃ με.

⁵⁰διὰ τοῦτο ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι ἐν ἔθνεσιν, Κύριε, καὶ τῷ ὀνόματί σου ψαλῶ·

⁵¹μεγαλύνων τὰς σωτηρίας τοῦ βασιλέως αὐτοῦ, καὶ ποιῶν ἔλεος τῷ χριστῷ αὐτοῦ, τῷ Δαυεὶδ καὶ τῷ σπέρματι αὐτοῦ ἕως αἰῶνος.
