Salmo 138

¹Salmo de Davi: Louvarei a ti com todo o meu coração; na presença dos deuses cantarei louvores a ti.

²Eu me prostrarei ao teu santo templo, e louvarei o teu nome por tua bondade e por tua verdade; porque engrandeceste tua palavra e teu nome acima de tudo.

³No dia em que clamei, tu me respondeste; e me fortaleceste com força em minha alma.

⁴Todos os reis da terra louvarão a ti, SENHOR, quando ouvirem as palavras de tua boca.

⁵E cantarão sobre os caminhos do SENHOR, pois grande é a glória do SENHOR.

⁶Porque mesmo sendo SENHOR elevado, ele presta atenção ao humilde; porém ele reconhece o arrogante de longe.

⁷Enquanto ando no meio da angústia, tu me vivificas; tu estendes tua mão contra a ira de meus inimigos; e tua mão direita me salva.

⁸O SENHOR fará por completo o que ele tem para mim; ó SENHOR, tua bondade dura para sempre; não abandones as obras de tuas mãos.

¹A Psalm of David. I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

²I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

³In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

⁴All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, when they hear the words of thy mouth.

⁵Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord.

⁶Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

⁷Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

⁸The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

¹Ipsi David. Confitebor tibi, Domine, in toto corde meo, quoniam audisti verba oris mei. In conspectu angelorum psallam tibi;

²adorabo ad templum sanctum tuum, et confitebor nomini tuo: super misericordia tua et veritate tua; quoniam magnificasti super omne, nomen sanctum tuum.

³In quacumque die invocavero te, exaudi me; multiplicabis in anima mea virtutem.

⁴Confiteantur tibi, Domine, omnes reges terræ, quia audierunt omnia verba oris tui.

⁵Et cantent in viis Domini, quoniam magna est gloria Domini;

⁶quoniam excelsus Dominus, et humilia respicit, et alta a longe cognoscit.

⁷Si ambulavero in medio tribulationis, vivificabis me; et super iram inimicorum meorum extendisti manum tuam, et salvum me fecit dextera tua.

⁸Dominus retribuet pro me. Domine, misericordia tua in sæculum; opera manuum tuarum ne despicias.

¹Τῷ Δαυείδ. Ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι, Κύριε, ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ μου, ὅτι ἤκουσας τὰ ῥήματα τοῦ στόματός μου· καὶ ἐναντίον ἀγγέλων ψαλῶ σοι.

²προσκυνήσω πρὸς ναὸν ἅγιόν σου, καὶ ἐξομολογήσομαι τῷ ὀνόματί σου ἐπὶ τῷ ἐλέει σου καὶ τῇ ἀληθείᾳ σου, ὅτι ἐμεγάλυνας ἐπὶ πᾶν ὄνομα τὸ ἅγιόν σου.

³ἐν ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἐπικαλέσωμαι, ταχὺ ἐπάκουσόν μου· πολυωρήσεις με ἐν ψυχῇ μου ἐν δυνάμει πολλῇ.

⁴ἐξομολογησάσθωσάν σοι, Κύριε, πάντες οἱ βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς, ὅτι ἤκουσαν πάντα τὰ ῥήματα τοῦ στόματός σου·

⁵καὶ ᾀσάτωσαν ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς Κυρίου, ὅτι ἡ δόξα Κυρίου μεγάλη·

⁶ὅτι ὑψηλὸς Κύριος, καὶ τὰ ταπεινὰ ἐφορᾷ, καὶ τὰ ὑψηλὰ ἀπὸ μακρόθεν γινώσκει.

⁷ἐὰν πορευθῶ ἐν μέσῳ θλίψεως, ζήσεις με· ἐπ᾽ ὀργὴν ἐχθρῶν ἐξέτεινας χεῖράς μου, καὶ ἔσωσέν με ἡ δεξιά σου.

⁸Κύριε, ἀνταποδώσεις ὑπὲρ ἐμοῦ· Κύριε, τὸ ἔλεός σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, Κύριε, τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν σου μὴ παρῇς.
