Salmo 135

¹Aleluia! Louvai o nome do SENHOR; louvai -o vós, servos do SENHOR,

²Que prestais serviço na Casa do SENHOR, nos pátios da Casa do nosso Deus.

³Louvai ao SENHOR, porque o SENHOR é bom; cantai louvores ao seu nome, porque é agradável;

⁴Porque o SENHOR escolheu para si a Jacó, a Israel como propriedade sua;

⁵Porque eu sei que o SENHOR é grande, e nosso Senhor está acima de todos os deuses.

⁶O SENHOR faz tudo o que quer, nos céus, na terra, nos mares, e em todos os abismos.

⁷Ele faz as nuvens subirem desde os confins da terra, faz os relâmpagos com a chuva; ele produz os ventos de seus tesouros.

⁸Ele feriu os primogênitos do Egito, desde os homens até os animais.

⁹Ele enviou sinais e prodígios no meio de ti, Egito; contra Faraó, e contra todos os seus servos.

¹⁰Ele feriu muitas nações, e matou reis poderosos:

¹¹Seom, rei dos amorreus, e Ogue, rei de Basã; e todos os reinos de Canaã.

¹²E deu a terra deles como herança; como herança a Israel, seu povo.

¹³Ó SENHOR, teu nome dura para sempre; e tua memória, SENHOR, de geração em geração.

¹⁴Porque o SENHOR julgará a seu povo; e terá compaixão de seus servos.

¹⁵Os ídolos das nações são prata e ouro; são obra de mãos humanas.

¹⁶Têm boca, mas não falam; têm olhos, mas não veem.

¹⁷Têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem; não têm respiração em sua boca.

¹⁸Tornem-se como eles os que os fazem, e todos os que confiam neles.

¹⁹Casa de Israel, bendizei ao SENHOR! Casa de Arão, bendizei ao SENHOR!

²⁰Casa de Levi, bendizei ao SENHOR! Vós que temeis ao SENHOR, bendizei ao SENHOR.

²¹Bendito seja o SENHOR desde Sião, ele que habita em Jerusalém. Aleluia!

¹Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord.

²Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God,

³Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

⁴For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

⁵For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

⁶Whatsoever the Lord pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

⁷He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

⁸Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.

⁹Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

¹⁰Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;

¹¹Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:

¹²And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.

¹³Thy name, O Lord, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O Lord, throughout all generations.

¹⁴For the Lord will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

¹⁵The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

¹⁶They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

¹⁷They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

¹⁸They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.

¹⁹Bless the Lord, O house of Israel: bless the Lord, O house of Aaron:

²⁰Bless the Lord, O house of Levi: ye that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.

²¹Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.

¹Alleluja. Laudate nomen Domini; laudate, servi, Dominum:

²qui statis in domo Domini, in atriis domus Dei nostri.

³Laudate Dominum, quia bonus Dominus; psallite nomini ejus, quoniam suave.

⁴Quoniam Jacob elegit sibi Dominus; Israël in possessionem sibi.

⁵Quia ego cognovi quod magnus est Dominus, et Deus noster præ omnibus diis.

⁶Omnia quæcumque voluit Dominus fecit, in cælo, in terra, in mari et in omnibus abyssis.

⁷Educens nubes ab extremo terræ, fulgura in pluviam fecit; qui producit ventos de thesauris suis.

⁸Qui percussit primogenita Ægypti, ab homine usque ad pecus.

⁹Et misit signa et prodigia in medio tui, Ægypte: in Pharaonem, et in omnes servos ejus.

¹⁰Qui percussit gentes multas, et occidit reges fortes:

¹¹Sehon, regem Amorrhæorum, et Og, regem Basan, et omnia regna Chanaan:

¹²et dedit terram eorum hæreditatem, hæreditatem Israël populo suo.

¹³Domine, nomen tuum in æternum; Domine, memoriale tuum in generationem et generationem.

¹⁴Quia judicabit Dominus populum suum, et in servis suis deprecabitur.

¹⁵Simulacra gentium argentum et aurum, opera manuum hominum.

¹⁶Os habent, et non loquentur; oculos habent, et non videbunt.

¹⁷Aures habent, et non audient; neque enim est spiritus in ore ipsorum.

¹⁸Similes illis fiant qui faciunt ea, et omnes qui confidunt in eis.

¹⁹Domus Israël, benedicite Domino; domus Aaron, benedicite Domino.

²⁰Domus Levi, benedicite Domino; qui timetis Dominum, benedicite Domino.

²¹Benedictus Dominus ex Sion, qui habitat in Jerusalem.

¹Ἁλληλουιά. Αἰνεῖτε τὸ ὄνομα Κυρίου, αἰνεῖτε δοῦλοι Κύριον,

²οἱ ἑστῶτες ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου, ἐν αὐλαῖς οἴκου θεοῦ ἡμῶν.

³αἰνεῖτε τὸν κύριον, ὅτι ἀγαθὸς Κύριος· ψάλατε τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ, ὅτι καλόν·

⁴ὅτι τὸν Ἰακὼβ ἐξελέξατο ἑαυτῷ ὁ κύριος, Ἰσραὴλ εἰς περιουσιασμὸν αὐτοῦ.

⁵ὅτι ἔγνων ὅτι μέγας Κύριος, καὶ ὁ κύριος ἡμῶν παρὰ πάντας τοὺς θεούς·

⁶πάντα ὅσα ἠθέλησεν ἐποίησεν ὁ κύριος ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐν τῇ γῇ, ἐν ταῖς θαλάσσαις καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἀβύσσοις·

⁷ἀνάγων νεφέλας ἐξ ἐσχάτου γῆς, ἀστραπὰς εἰς ὑετὸν ἐποίησεν· ὁ ἐξάγων ἀνέμους ἐκ θησαυρῶν αὐτοῦ.

⁸ὃς ἐπάταξεν τὰ πρωτότοκα Αἰγύπτου ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους·

⁹ἐξαπέστειλεν σημεῖα καὶ τέρατα ἐν μέσῳ σου, Αἴγυπτε, ἐν Φαραὼ καὶ ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ.

¹⁰ἐπάταξεν ἔθνη πολλά, καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν βασιλεῖς κραταιούς,

¹¹τὸν Σηὼν βασιλέα τῶν Ἀμορραίων, καὶ τὸν Ὢγ βασιλέα τῆς Βασάν, καὶ πάσας τὰς βασιλείας Χανάαν·

¹²καὶ ἔδωκεν τὴν γῆν αὐτῶν κληρονομίαν, κληρονομίαν Ἰσραὴλ δούλῳ αὐτοῦ.

¹³Κύριε, τὸ ὄνομά σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, Κύριε, τὸ μνημόσυνόν σου εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεάν.

¹⁴οἰκτείρει Κύριος τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ παρακληθήσεται.

¹⁵τὰ εἴδωλα τῶν ἐθνῶν ἀργύριον καὶ χρυσίον, ἔργα χειρῶν ἀνθρώπων.

¹⁶στόμα ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐ λαλοῦσιν, ὀφθαλμοὺς ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐκ ὄψονται·

¹⁷ὦτα ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐκ ἐνωτισθήσονται, οὐδὲ γάρ ἐστιν πνεῦμα ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν.

¹⁸ὅμοιοι αὐτοῖς γένοιντο πάντες οἱ ποιοῦντες αὐτὰ καὶ πάντες οἱ πεποιθότες ἐν αὐτοῖς.

¹⁹οἶκος Ἰσραήλ, εὐλογήσατε τὸν κύριον, οἶκος Ἀαρών, εὐλογήσατε τὸν κύριον·

²⁰οἶκος Λευεί, εὐλογήσατε τὸν κύριον, οἱ φοβούμενοι τὸν κύριον, εὐλογήσατε τὸν κύριον.

²¹εὐλογητὸς Κύριος ἐκ Σιών, ὁ κατοικῶν Ἰερουσαλήμ.
