Salmo 122

¹Cântico dos degraus, de Davi: Alegro-me com os que me dizem: Vamos à casa do SENHOR.

²Nossos pés estão adentro de tuas portas, ó Jerusalém.

³Jerusalém está edificada como uma cidade bem unida;

⁴Para onde as tribos sobem, as tribos do SENHOR, como testemunho de Israel, para agradecerem ao nome do SENHOR.

⁵Porque ali estão as cadeiras do julgamento; as cadeiras da casa de Davi.

⁶Orai pela paz de Jerusalém; prosperem os que te amam.

⁷Paz haja em teus muros, e prosperidade em tuas fortalezas.

⁸Por meus irmãos e amigos, assim falarei: Paz haja em ti.

⁹Pela Casa do SENHOR nosso Deus, buscarei o bem para ti.

¹A Song of degrees of David. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.

²Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

³Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

⁴Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.

⁵For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

⁶Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

⁷Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

⁸For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

⁹Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.

¹Canticum graduum. Lætatus sum in his quæ dicta sunt mihi: In domum Domini ibimus.

²Stantes erant pedes nostri in atriis tuis, Jerusalem.

³Jerusalem, quæ ædificatur ut civitas, cujus participatio ejus in idipsum.

⁴Illuc enim ascenderunt tribus, tribus Domini: testimonium Israël, ad confitendum nomini Domini.

⁵Quia illic sederunt sedes in judicio, sedes super domum David.

⁶Rogate quæ ad pacem sunt Jerusalem, et abundantia diligentibus te.

⁷Fiat pax in virtute tua, et abundantia in turribus tuis.

⁸Propter fratres meos et proximos meos, loquebar pacem de te.

⁹Propter domum Domini Dei nostri, quæsivi bona tibi.

¹ᾨδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν· τῷ Δαυείδ. Εὐφράνθην ἐπὶ τοῖς εἰρηκόσιν μοι Εἰς οἶκον Κυρίου πορευσόμεθα·

²ἑστῶτες ἦσαν οἱ πόδες ἡμῶν ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς Ἰερουσαλήμ.

³Ἰερουσαλὴμ οἰκοδομουμένη ὡς πόλις ἧς ἡ μετοχὴ αὐτῆς ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό.

⁴ἐκεῖ γὰρ ἀνέβησαν αἱ φυλαὶ Κυρίου, μαρτύριον τοῦ Ἰσραήλ, τοῦ ἐξομολογήσασθαι τῷ ὀνόματι Κυρίου·

⁵ὅτι ἐκεῖ ἐκάθισαν θρόνοι εἰς κρίσιν, θρόνοι ἐπὶ οἶκον Δαυείδ,

⁶καὶ εὐθηνία τοῖς ἀγαπῶσίν σε· ἐρωτήσατε δὴ τὰ εἰς εἰρήνην τῇ Ἰερουσαλήμ.

⁷γενέσθω δὴ εἰρήνη σου ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου, καὶ εὐθηνία ἐν τοῖς πυργοβάρεσίν σου,

⁸ἕνεκα τῶν ἀδελφῶν μου καὶ τῶν πλησίον μου. ἐλάλουν δὲ εἰρήνην περὶ σοῦ·

⁹ἕνεκα τοῦ οἴκου Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἐξεζήτησά σοι.
