Salmo 115

¹Não a nós, SENHOR; não a nós, mas a teu nome dá glória; por tua bondade, por tua fidelidade.

²Porque as nações dirão: Onde está o Deus deles?

³Porém nosso Deus está nos céus, ele faz tudo o que lhe agrada.

⁴Os ídolos deles são prata e ouro, obras de mãos humanas.

⁵Têm boca, mas não falam; têm olhos, mas não veem;

⁶Têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem; tem nariz, mas não cheiram;

⁷Têm mãos, mas não apalpam; têm pés, mas não andam; nem falam com suas gargantas.

⁸Tornem-se como eles os que os fazem, e todos os que neles confiam.

⁹Ó Israel, confia no SENHOR; ele é sua ajuda e seu escudo.

¹⁰Ó casa de Arão, confiai no SENHOR; ele é sua ajuda e seu escudo.

¹¹Vós que temeis ao SENHOR, confiai no SENHOR; ele é sua ajuda e seu escudo.

¹²O SENHOR tem se lembrado de nós; ele há de abençoar; ele abençoará a casa de Israel; ele abençoará a casa de Arão.

¹³Ele abençoará aos que temem ao SENHOR; tanto os pequenos como os grandes.

¹⁴O SENHOR vos aumentará, vós e vossos filhos.

¹⁵Benditos sois vós que pertenceis ao SENHOR, que fez os céus e a terra.

¹⁶Quanto aos céus, os céus são do SENHOR; mas a terra ele deu aos filhos dos homens.

¹⁷Os mortos não louvam ao SENHOR, nem os que descem ao silêncio.

¹⁸Porém nós bendiremos ao SENHOR, desde agora e para sempre. Aleluia!

¹Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.

²Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?

³But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

⁴Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

⁵They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

⁶They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

⁷They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

⁸They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

⁹O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

¹⁰O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

¹¹Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

¹²The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

¹³He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.

¹⁴The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

¹⁵Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.

¹⁶The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

¹⁷The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.

¹⁸But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord.

⁹Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam:

¹⁰super misericordia tua et veritate tua; nequando dicant gentes: Ubi est Deus eorum?

¹¹Deus autem noster in cælo; omnia quæcumque voluit fecit.

¹²Simulacra gentium argentum et aurum, opera manuum hominum.

¹³Os habent, et non loquentur; oculos habent, et non videbunt.

¹⁴Aures habent, et non audient; nares habent, et non odorabunt.

¹⁵Manus habent, et non palpabunt; pedes habent, et non ambulabunt; non clamabunt in gutture suo.

¹⁶Similes illis fiant qui faciunt ea, et omnes qui confidunt in eis.

¹⁷Domus Israël speravit in Domino; adjutor eorum et protector eorum est.

¹⁸Domus Aaron speravit in Domino; adjutor eorum et protector eorum est.

¹⁹Qui timent Dominum speraverunt in Domino; adjutor eorum et protector eorum est.

²⁰Dominus memor fuit nostri, et benedixit nobis. Benedixit domui Israël; benedixit domui Aaron.

²¹Benedixit omnibus qui timent Dominum, pusillis cum majoribus.

²²Adjiciat Dominus super vos, super vos et super filios vestros.

²³Benedicti vos a Domino, qui fecit cælum et terram.

²⁴Cælum cæli Domino; terram autem dedit filiis hominum.

²⁵Non mortui laudabunt te, Domine, neque omnes qui descendunt in infernum:

²⁶sed nos qui vivimus, benedicimus Domino, ex hoc nunc et usque in sæculum.

⁹μὴ ἡμῖν, Κύριε, μὴ ἡμῖν ἀλλ᾽ ἢ τῷ ὀνόματί σου δὸς δόξαν ἐπὶ τῷ ἐλέει σου καὶ τῇ ἀληθείᾳ σου.

¹⁰μή ποτε εἴπωσιν τὰ ἔθνη Ποῦ ἐστιν ὁ θεὸς αὐτῶν;

¹¹ὁ δὲ θεὸς ἡμῶν ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ ἄνω· ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς πάντα ὅσα ἠβούλετο ἐποίησεν.

¹²τὰ εἴδωλα τῶν ἐθνῶν ἀργύριον καὶ χρυσίον, ἔργα χειρῶν ἀνθρώπων.

¹³στόμα ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐ λαλοῦσιν, ὀφθαλμοὺς ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐκ ὄψονται·

¹⁴ὦτα ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐκ ἀκούσονται, ῥῖνας ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐκ ὀσφρανθήσονται·

¹⁵χεῖρας ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐ ψηλαφήσουσιν, πόδας ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐ περιπατήσουσιν· οὐ φωνήσουσιν ἐν τῷ λάρυγγι αὐτῶν.

¹⁶ὅμοιοι αὐτοῖς γένοιντο οἱ ποιοῦντες αὐτὰ καὶ πάντες οἱ πεποιθότες ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῖς.

¹⁷οἶκος Ἰσραὴλ ἤλπισεν ἐπὶ Κύριον· βοηθὸς αὐτῶν καὶ ὑπερασπιστὴς αὐτῶν ἐστιν.

¹⁸οἶκος Ἀαρὼν ἤλπισεν ἐπὶ Κύριον· βοηθὸς αὐτῶν καὶ ὑπερασπιστὴς αὐτῶν ἐστιν.

¹⁹οἱ φοβούμενοι τὸν κύριον ἤλπισαν ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν· βοηθὸς αὐτῶν καὶ ὑπερασπιστὴς αὐτῶν ἐστιν.

²⁰Κύριος ἐμνήσθη ἡμῶν καὶ εὐλόγησεν ἡμᾶς, εὐλόγησεν τὸν οἶκον Ἰσραήλ, εὐλόγησεν τὸν οἶκον Ἀαρών·

²¹εὐλόγησεν τοὺς φοβουμένους τὸν κύριον, τοὺς μικροὺς μετὰ τῶν μεγάλων.

²²προσθείη Κύριος ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς, ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς ὑμῶν·

²³εὐλογημένοι ὑμεῖς ἐστε τῷ κυρίῳ, τῷ ποιήσαντι τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν.

²⁴ὁ οὐρανὸς τοῦ οὐρανοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ, τὴν δὲ γῆν ἔδωκεν τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν ἀνθρώπων.

²⁵οὐχ οἱ νεκροὶ αἰνέσουσίν σε, Κύριε, οὐδὲ πάντες οἱ καταβαίνοντες εἰς ᾅδου·

²⁶ἀλλ᾽ ἡμεῖς οἱ ζῶντες εὐλογήσωμεν τὸν κύριον ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν καὶ ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος.
