Salmo 112

¹Aleluia! Bem-aventurado é o homem que teme ao SENHOR, e que tem muito prazer em seus mandamentos.

²Sua descendência será poderosa na terra; a geração dos corretos será bendita.

³Em sua casa haverá bens e riquezas, e sua justiça permanece para sempre.

⁴A luz brilha nas trevas para os corretos, para quem é piedoso, misericordioso e justo.

⁵O homem bom é misericordioso, e empresta; ele administra suas coisas com prudência.

⁶Certamente ele nunca se abalará; o justo será lembrado para sempre.

⁷Ele não temerá o mau rumor; o seu coração está firme, confiante no SENHOR.

⁸Seu firme coração não temerá, até que ele veja o fim de seus inimigos.

⁹Ele distribui, e dá aos necessitados; sua justiça permanece para sempre; seu poder será exaltado em glória.

¹⁰O perverso verá, e ficará incomodado; rangerá seus dentes, e se consumirá. O desejo dos perversos perecerá.

¹Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

²His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

³Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

⁴Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

⁵A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

⁶Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

⁷He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

⁸His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

⁹He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

¹⁰The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

¹Alleluja, reversionis Aggæi et Zachariæ. Beatus vir qui timet Dominum: in mandatis ejus volet nimis.

²Potens in terra erit semen ejus; generatio rectorum benedicetur.

³Gloria et divitiæ in domo ejus, et justitia ejus manet in sæculum sæculi.

⁴Exortum est in tenebris lumen rectis: misericors, et miserator, et justus.

⁵Jucundus homo qui miseretur et commodat; disponet sermones suos in judicio:

⁶quia in æternum non commovebitur.

⁷In memoria æterna erit justus; ab auditione mala non timebit. Paratum cor ejus sperare in Domino,

⁸confirmatum est cor ejus; non commovebitur donec despiciat inimicos suos.

⁹Dispersit, dedit pauperibus; justitia ejus manet in sæculum sæculi: cornu ejus exaltabitur in gloria.

¹⁰Peccator videbit, et irascetur; dentibus suis fremet et tabescet: desiderium peccatorum peribit.

¹Ἁλληλουιά. Μακάριος ἀνὴρ ὁ φοβούμενος τὸν κύριον, ἐν ταῖς ἐντολαῖς αὐτοῦ θέλει σφόδρα·

²δυνατὸν ἐν τῇ γῇ ἔσται τὸ σπέρμα αὐτοῦ, γενεὰ εὐθέων εὐλογηθήσεται·

³δόξα καὶ πλοῦτος ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἡ δικαιοσύνη αὐτοῦ μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος.

⁴ἐξανέτειλεν ἐν σκότει φῶς τοῖς εὐθέσι· ἐλεήμων καὶ οἰκτίρμων καὶ δίκαιος.

⁵χρηστὸς ἀνὴρ ὁ οἰκτίρμων καὶ κιχρῶν, οἰκονομήσει τοὺς λόγους αὐτοῦ ἐν κρίσει·

⁶ὅτι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα οὐ σαλευθήσεται· εἰς μνημόσυνον αἰώνιον ἔσται δίκαιος.

⁷ἀπὸ ἀκοῆς πονηρᾶς οὐ φοβηθήσεται· ἑτοίμη ἡ καρδία αὐτοῦ ἐλπίζειν ἐπὶ τὸν κύριον.

⁸ἐστήρικται ἡ καρδία αὐτοῦ, οὐ φοβηθήσεται, ἕως οὗ ἐφίδῃ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτοῦ.

⁹ἐσκόρπισεν, ἔδωκεν τοῖς πένησιν, ἡ δικαιοσύνη αὐτοῦ μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος· τὸ κέρας αὐτοῦ ὑψωθήσεται ἐν δόξῃ.

¹⁰ἁμαρτωλὸς ὄψεται καὶ ὀργισθήσεται, τοὺς ὀδόντας αὐτοῦ βρύξει καὶ τακήσεται· ἐπιθυμία ἁμαρτωλῶν ἀπολεῖται.
