Salmo 111

¹Aleluia! Louvarei ao SENHOR com todo o coração, no conselho e na congregação dos corretos.

²Grandes são as obras do SENHOR; procuradas por todos os que nelas se agradam.

³Glória e majestade são o seu agir, e sua justiça permanece para sempre.

⁴Ele fez memoráveis as suas maravilhas; piedoso é misericordioso é o SENHOR.

⁵Ele deu alimento aos que o temem; ele se lembrará para sempre de seu pacto.

⁶Ele anunciou o poder se suas obras a seu povo, dando-lhes a herança de nações estrangeiras.

⁷As obras de suas mãos são verdade e juízo, e todos os seus mandamentos são fiéis.

⁸Eles ficarão firmes para sempre, e são feitos em verdade e justiça.

⁹Ele enviou resgate a seu povo, ordenou seu pacto para sempre; santo e temível é o seu nome.

¹⁰O temor ao SENHOR é o princípio da sabedoria; inteligentes são todos o que isto praticam. O louvor a ele dura para sempre.

¹Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

²The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

³His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

⁴He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

⁵He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

⁶He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

⁷The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

⁸They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

⁹He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

¹⁰The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

¹Alleluja. Confitebor tibi, Domine, in toto corde meo, in consilio justorum, et congregatione.

²Magna opera Domini: exquisita in omnes voluntates ejus.

³Confessio et magnificentia opus ejus, et justitia ejus manet in sæculum sæculi.

⁴Memoriam fecit mirabilium suorum, misericors et miserator Dominus.

⁵Escam dedit timentibus se; memor erit in sæculum testamenti sui.

⁶Virtutem operum suorum annuntiabit populo suo,

⁷ut det illis hæreditatem gentium. Opera manuum ejus veritas et judicium.

⁸Fidelia omnia mandata ejus, confirmata in sæculum sæculi, facta in veritate et æquitate.

⁹Redemptionem misit populo suo; mandavit in æternum testamentum suum. Sanctum et terribile nomen ejus.

¹⁰Initium sapientiæ timor Domini; intellectus bonus omnibus facientibus eum: laudatio ejus manet in sæculum sæculi.

¹Ἁλληλουιά. Ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι, Κύριε, ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ μου, ἐν βουλῇ εὐθείων καὶ συναγωγῇ.

²μεγάλα τὰ ἔργα Κυρίου, ἐξεζητημένα εἰς πάντα τὰ θελήματα αὐτοῦ·

³ἐξομολόγησις καὶ μεγαλοπρέπεια τὸ ἔργον αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἡ δικαιοσύνη αὐτοῦ μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος.

⁴μνείαν ἐποιήσατο τῶν θαυμασίων αὐτοῦ, ἐλεήμων καὶ οἰκτίρμων ὁ κύριος·

⁵τροφὴν ἔδωκεν τοῖς φοβουμένοις αὐτόν, μνησθήσεται εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα διαθήκης αὐτοῦ.

⁶ἰσχὺν ἔργων ἑαυτοῦ ἀνήγγειλεν τῷ λαῷ ἑαυτοῦ, τοῦ δοῦναι αὐτοῖς κληρονομίαν ἐθνῶν.

⁷ἔργα χειρῶν αὐτοῦ ἀλήθεια καὶ κρίσις· πισταὶ πᾶσαι αἱ ἐντολαὶ αὐτοῦ,

⁸ἐστηριγμέναι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος, πεποιημέναι ἐν ἀληθείᾳ καὶ εὐθύτητι.

⁹λύτρωσιν ἀπέστειλεν τῷ λαῷ αὐτοῦ· ἐνετείλατο εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα διαθήκην αὐτοῦ· ἅγιον καὶ φοβερὸν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ.

¹⁰ἀρχὴ σοφίας φόβος Κυρίου, σύνεσις ἀγαθὴ πᾶσι τοῖς ποιοῦσιν αὐτήν· ἡ αἴνεσις αὐτοῦ μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος.
