Salmo 94

¹Ó Deus das vinganças, SENHOR Deus das vinganças, mostra-te com teu brilho!

²Exalta-te, ó Juiz da terra! Retribui com punição aos arrogantes.

³Até quando os perversos, SENHOR, até quando os perversos se alegrarão?

⁴Eles falam demais, e dizem palavras soberbas; todos os que praticam a maldade se orgulham.

⁵Eles despedaçam ao teu povo, SENHOR, e humilham a tua herança.

⁶Eles matam a viúva e o estrangeiro, e tiram a vida dos órfãos.

⁷E dizem: O SENHOR não vê isso, e o Deus de Jacó não está prestando atenção.

⁸Entendei, ó tolos dentre o povo; e vós que sois loucos, quando sereis sábios?

⁹Por acaso aquele que criou os ouvidos não ouviria? Aquele que formou os olhos não veria?

¹⁰Aquele que disciplina as nações não castigaria? É ele o que ensina o conhecimento ao homem.

¹¹O SENHOR conhece os pensamentos do homem, que são inúteis.

¹²Bem-aventurado é o homem a quem tu disciplinas, SENHOR, e em tua Lei o ensinas;

¹³Para tu lhe dares descanso dos dias de aflição, até que seja cavada a cova para o perverso.

¹⁴Pois o SENHOR não abandonará o seu povo, nem desamparará a sua herança.

¹⁵Porque o juízo restaurará a justiça, e todos os corretos de coração o seguirão.

¹⁶Quem se levantará em meu favor contra os malfeitores? Quem se porá em meu favor contra os praticantes de perversidade?

¹⁷Se o SENHOR não tivesse sido meu socorro, minha alma logo teria vindo a morar no silêncio da morte.

¹⁸Quando eu dizia: Meu pé está escorregando;Tua bondade, ó SENHOR, me sustentava.

¹⁹Quando minhas preocupações se multiplicavam dentro de mim, teus consolos confortaram a minha alma.

²⁰Por acaso teria comunhão contigo o trono da maldade, que faz leis opressivas?

²¹Muitos se juntam contra a alma do justo, e condenam o sangue inocente.

²²Mas o SENHOR é meu alto retiro, e meu Deus a rocha de meu refúgio.

²³E ele fará voltar sobre eles suas próprias perversidades, e por suas maldades ele os destruirá; o SENHOR nosso Deus os destruirá.

¹O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

²Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

³Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

⁴How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

⁵They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.

⁶They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

⁷Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

⁸Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

⁹He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

¹⁰He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

¹¹The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

¹²Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;

¹³That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

¹⁴For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

¹⁵But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

¹⁶Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

¹⁷Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

¹⁸When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.

¹⁹In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

²⁰Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

²¹They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

²²But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

²³And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off.

¹Psalmus ipsi David, quarta sabbati. Deus ultionum Dominus; Deus ultionum libere egit.

²Exaltare, qui judicas terram; redde retributionem superbis.

³Usquequo peccatores, Domine, usquequo peccatores gloriabuntur;

⁴effabuntur et loquentur iniquitatem; loquentur omnes qui operantur injustitiam?

⁵Populum tuum, Domine, humiliaverunt, et hæreditatem tuam vexaverunt.

⁶Viduam et advenam interfecerunt, et pupillos occiderunt.

⁷Et dixerunt: Non videbit Dominus, nec intelliget Deus Jacob.

⁸Intelligite, insipientes in populo; et stulti, aliquando sapite.

⁹Qui plantavit aurem non audiet? aut qui finxit oculum non considerat?

¹⁰Qui corripit gentes non arguet, qui docet hominem scientiam?

¹¹Dominus scit cogitationes hominum, quoniam vanæ sunt.

¹²Beatus homo quem tu erudieris, Domine, et de lege tua docueris eum:

¹³ut mitiges ei a diebus malis, donec fodiatur peccatori fovea.

¹⁴Quia non repellet Dominus plebem suam, et hæreditatem suam non derelinquet,

¹⁵quoadusque justitia convertatur in judicium: et qui juxta illam, omnes qui recto sunt corde.

¹⁶Quis consurget mihi adversus malignantes? aut quis stabit mecum adversus operantes iniquitatem?

¹⁷Nisi quia Dominus adjuvit me, paulominus habitasset in inferno anima mea.

¹⁸Si dicebam: Motus est pes meus: misericordia tua, Domine, adjuvabat me.

¹⁹Secundum multitudinem dolorum meorum in corde meo, consolationes tuæ lætificaverunt animam meam.

²⁰Numquid adhæret tibi sedes iniquitatis, qui fingis laborem in præcepto?

²¹Captabunt in animam justi, et sanguinem innocentem condemnabunt.

²²Et factus est mihi Dominus in refugium, et Deus meus in adjutorium spei meæ.

²³Et reddet illis iniquitatem ipsorum, et in malitia eorum disperdet eos: disperdet illos Dominus Deus noster.

¹Ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυείδ, τετράδι σαββάτων. Ὁ θεὸς ἐκδικήσεων Κύριος, ὁ θεὸς ἐκδικήσεων ἐπαρρησιάσατο.

²ὑψώθητι ὁ κρίνων τὴν γῆν, ἀπόδος ἀνταπόδοσιν τοῖς ὑπερηφάνοις.

³ἕως πότε ἁμαρτωλοί, Κύριε, ἕως πότε ἁμαρτωλοὶ καυχήσονται;

⁴φθέγξονται καὶ λαλήσουσιν ἀδικίαν, λαλήσουσιν πάντες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν;

⁵τὸν λαόν σου, Κύριε, ἐταπείνωσαν, καὶ τὴν κληρονομίαν σου ἐκάκωσαν·

⁶χήραν καὶ ὀρφανὸν ἀπέκτειναν, καὶ προσήλυτον ἐφόνευσαν·

⁷καὶ εἶπαν Οὐκ ὄψεται Κύριος, οὐδὲ συνήσει ὁ θεὸς τοῦ Ἰακώβ.

⁸σύνετε δή, ἄφρονες ἐν τῷ λαῷ· καὶ μωροί, ποτὲ φρονήσατε.

⁹ὁ φυτεύσας τὸ οὖς, οὐχὶ ἀκούει; ἢ ὁ πλάσας ὀφθαλμούς, οὐ κατανοεῖ;

¹⁰ὁ παιδεύων ἔθνη, οὐχὶ ἐλέγξει, ὁ διδάσκων ἄνθρωπον γνῶσιν;

¹¹Κύριος γινώσκει τοὺς διαλογισμοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων, ὅτι εἰσὶν μάταιοι.

¹²μακάριος ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὃν ἂν σὺ παιδεύσῃς, Κύριε, καὶ ἐκ τοῦ νόμου σου διδάξῃς αὐτόν,

¹³τοῦ πρᾳῦναι αὐτῷ ἀφ᾽ ἡμερῶν πονηρῶν, ἕως οὗ ὀρυγῇ τῷ ἁμαρτωλῷ βόθρος.

¹⁴ὅτι οὐκ ἀπώσεται Κύριος τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψει,

¹⁵ἕως οὗ δικαιοσύνη ἐπιστρέψῃ εἰς κρίσιν, καὶ ἐχόμενοι αὐτῆς πάντες οἱ εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳ. διάψαλμα.

¹⁶τίς ἀναστήσεταί μοι ἐπὶ πονηρευομένους, ἢ τίς συνπαραστήσεταί μοι ἐπὶ ἐργαζομένους τὴν ἀνομίαν;

¹⁷εἰ μὴ ὅτι Κύριος ἐβοήθησέν μοι, παρὰ βραχὺ παρῴκησεν τῷ ᾅδῃ ἡ ψυχή μου.

¹⁸εἰ ἔλεγον Σεσάλευται ὁ πούς μου, τὸ ἔλεός σου, Κύριε, βοηθεῖ μοι.

¹⁹Κύριε, κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ὀδυνῶν μου ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ μου, αἱ παρακλήσεις σου ἠγάπησαν τὴν ψυχήν μου.

²⁰μὴ συνπροσέσται σοι θρόνος ἀνομίας, ὁ πλάσσων κόπον ἐπὶ προστάγματι;

²¹θηρεύσουσιν ἐπὶ ψυχὴν δικαίου, καὶ αἷμα ἀθῷον καταδικάσονται.

²²καὶ ἐγένετό μοι Κύριος εἰς καταφυγήν, καὶ ὁ θεός μου εἰς βοηθὸν ἐλπίδος μου·

²³καὶ ἀποδώσει αὐτοῖς τὴν ἀνομίαν αὐτῶν καὶ τὴν πονηρίαν αὐτῶν· ἀφανιεῖ αὐτοὺς Κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν.
