Salmo 81

¹Salmo de Asafe, para o regente, conforme “Gitite”: Cantai de alegria a Deus, que é nossa força; mostrai alegria ao Deus de Jacó.

²Levantai uma canção, e dai-nos o tamborim; a agradável harpa com a lira.

³Tocai trombeta na lua nova; e na lua cheia, no dia de nossa celebração.

⁴Porque isto é um estatuto em Israel, e uma ordem do Deus de Jacó.

⁵Ele o pôs como testemunho em José, quando tinha saído contra a terra do Egito, onde ouvi uma língua que eu não entendia:

⁶Tirei seus ombros de debaixo da carga; suas mãos foram livrados dos cestos.

⁷Na angústia clamaste, e livrei-te dela; te respondi no esconderijo dos trovões; provei a ti nas águas de Meribá. (Selá)

⁸Ouve -me, povo meu, e eu te darei testemunho; ó Israel, se tu me ouvisses!

⁹Não haverá entre ti deus estranho, e não te prostrarás a um deus estrangeiro.

¹⁰Eu sou o SENHOR teu Deus, que te fiz subir da terra do Egito; abre tua boca por completo, e eu a encherei.

¹¹Mas meu povo não ouviu minha voz, e Israel não me quis.

¹²Por isso eu os entreguei ao desejo de seus próprios corações, e andaram conforme seus próprios conselhos.

¹³Ah, se meu povo me ouvisse, se Israel andasse em meus caminhos!

¹⁴Em pouco tempo eu derrotaria seus inimigos, e viraria minha mão contra seus adversários.

¹⁵Os que odeiam ao SENHOR, a ele se submeteriam, e o tempo da punição deles seria eterno.

¹⁶E ele sustentaria Israel com a abundância de trigo; e eu te fartaria com o mel da rocha.

¹To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of Asaph. Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

²Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

³Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

⁴For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.

⁵This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

⁶I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.

⁷Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

⁸Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;

⁹There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

¹⁰I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

¹¹But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.

¹²So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

¹³Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!

¹⁴I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

¹⁵The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.

¹⁶He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.

²Exsultate Deo adjutori nostro; jubilate Deo Jacob.

³Sumite psalmum, et date tympanum; psalterium jucundum cum cithara.

⁴Buccinate in neomenia tuba, in insigni die solemnitatis vestræ:

⁵quia præceptum in Israël est, et judicium Deo Jacob.

⁶Testimonium in Joseph posuit illud, cum exiret de terra Ægypti; linguam quam non noverat, audivit.

⁷Divertit ab oneribus dorsum ejus; manus ejus in cophino servierunt.

⁸In tribulatione invocasti me, et liberavi te. Exaudivi te in abscondito tempestatis; probavi te apud aquam contradictionis.

⁹Audi, populus meus, et contestabor te. Israël, si audieris me,

¹⁰non erit in te deus recens, neque adorabis deum alienum.

¹¹Ego enim sum Dominus Deus tuus, qui eduxi te de terra Ægypti. Dilata os tuum, et implebo illud.

¹²Et non audivit populus meus vocem meam, et Israël non intendit mihi.

¹³Et dimisi eos secundum desideria cordis eorum; ibunt in adinventionibus suis.

¹⁴Si populus meus audisset me, Israël si in viis meis ambulasset,

¹⁵pro nihilo forsitan inimicos eorum humiliassem, et super tribulantes eos misissem manum meam.

¹⁶Inimici Domini mentiti sunt ei, et erit tempus eorum in sæcula.

¹⁷Et cibavit eos ex adipe frumenti, et de petra melle saturavit eos.

¹Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ὑπὲρ τῶν ληνῶν· τῷ Ἀσὰφ ψαλμός.

²Ἀγαλλιᾶσθε τῷ θεῷ τῷ βοηθῷ ἡμῶν, ἀλαλάξατε τῷ θεῷ Ἰακώβ·

³λάβετε ψαλμὸν καὶ δότε τύμπανον, ψαλτήριον τερπνὸν μετὰ κιθάρας·

⁴σαλπίσατε ἐν νεομηνίᾳ σάλπιγγι, ἐν εὐσήμῳ ἡμέρᾳ ἑορτῆς ἡμῶν,

⁵ὅτι πρόσταγμα τῷ Ἰσραήλ ἐστιν, καὶ κρίμα τῷ θεῷ Ἰακώβ·

⁶μαρτύριον ἐν τῷ Ἰωσὴφ ἔθετο αὐτόν, ἐν τῷ ἐξελθεῖν αὐτὸν ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου. γλῶσσαν ἣν οὐκ ἔγνω ἤκουσεν,

⁷ἀπέστησεν ἀπὸ ἄρσεων τὸν νῶτον αὐτοῦ, αἱ χεῖρες αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ κοφίνῳ ἐδούλευσαν.

⁸ἐν θλίψει ἐπεκαλέσω με καὶ ἐρυσάμην σε· ἐπήκουσά σου ἐν ἀποκρύφῳ καταιγίδος, ἐδοκίμασά σε ἐπὶ ὕδατος Ἀντιλογίας. διάψαλμα.

⁹ἄκουσον, λαός μου, καὶ λαλήσω σοι· Ἰσραήλ, καὶ διαμαρτύρομαί σοι. ἐὰν ἀκούσῃς μου,

¹⁰οὐκ ἔσται ἐν σοὶ θεὸς πρόσφατος, οὐδὲ προσκυνήσεις θεῷ ἀλλοτρίῳ.

¹¹ἐγὼ γάρ εἰμι Κύριος ὁ θεός σου, ὁ ἀναγαγών σε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου· πλάτυνον τὸ στόμα σου καὶ πληρώσω αὐτό.

¹²καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσεν ὁ λαός μου τῆς φωνῆς μου, καὶ Ἰσραὴλ οὐ προσέσχεν μοι·

¹³καὶ ἐξαπέστειλα αὐτοὺς κατὰ τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα τῶν καρδιῶν αὐτῶν, πορεύσονται ἐν τοῖς ἐπιτηδεύμασιν αὐτῶν.

¹⁴εἰ ὁ λαὸς ἤκουσέν μου Ἰσραήλ, ταῖς ὁδοῖς μου εἰ ἐπορεύθη,

¹⁵ἐν τῷ μηδενὶ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτῶν ἐταπείνωσα, καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς θλίβοντας αὐτοὺς ἐπέβαλον τὴν χεῖρά μου.

¹⁶οἱ ἐχθροὶ Κυρίου ἐψεύσαντο αὐτῷ, καὶ ἔσται ὁ καιρὸς αὐτῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα·

¹⁷καὶ ἐψώμισεν αὐτοὺς ἐκ στέατος πυροῦ, καὶ ἐκ πέτρας μέλι ἐχόρτασεν αὐτούς.
