Salmo 71

¹Em ti, SENHOR, confio; nunca me deixes ser envergonhado.

²Resgata-me e livra-me por tua justiça; inclina a mim teus ouvidos, e salva-me.

³Sê tu minha rocha e minha habitação, para continuamente eu me abrigar nela; tu tens ordenado que eu seja salvo, porque tu és minha rocha forte e minha fortaleza.

⁴Meu Deus, livra-me da dominação do perverso, das mãos do injusto e cruel;

⁵Pois tu és minha esperança, ó Senhor DEUS; tu és minha confiança desde minha juventude.

⁶Tenho me apoiado em ti desde o ventre de minha mãe; das entranhas dela me tiraste; eu louvo continuamente a ti.

⁷Para muitos fui como prodígio, porém tu és meu forte refúgio.

⁸Minha boca seja cheia de louvores a ti por tua glória o dia todo.

⁹Não me rejeites no tempo da velhice; não me desampares quando minha força se acabar;

¹⁰Porque meus inimigos falam contra mim, e os que espiam minha alma tomam conselhos juntos uns com os outros;

¹¹Dizendo: Deus o desamparou; persegui, e o tomai, pois já não há quem o livre.

¹²Deus, não fiques longe de mim; Deus meu, apressa-te para me socorrer.

¹³Sejam envergonhados e pereçam os adversários de minha alma; cubram-se de humilhação e confusão aqueles que procuram fazer mal a mim.

¹⁴Porém eu continuamente manterei a esperança, e darei todo o louvor a ti ainda mais.

¹⁵Minha boca contará tua justiça, e tua salvação o dia todo, ainda que eu não saiba sua medida.

¹⁶Irei adiante pelos poderes do Senhor DEUS; anunciarei tua justiça, que é somente tua.

¹⁷Deus, tu tens me ensinado desde minha juventude; e até agora conto tuas maravilhas.

¹⁸E agora, que estou velho e de cabelos grisalhos, não me desampares, Deus; enquanto eu não tiver anunciado a força de teu braço a esta geração, e teu poder a todos que vierem.

¹⁹E tua justiça, Senhor, alcança as alturas; porque tu tens feito grandes coisas. Quem é como tu, ó Deus?

²⁰Tu, que me fizeste ver muitos males e aflições, voltarás a me dar vida; e voltarás a me tirar dos abismos da terra.

²¹Tu aumentarás minha honra e voltarás para me consolar.

²²Eu também te louvarei com instrumento de cordas pela tua fidelidade, ó meu Deus; cantarei a ti com harpa, ó Santo de Israel.

²³Meus lábios terão muita alegria, porque cantarei a ti; e também se alegrará a minha alma, que tu tens resgatado.

²⁴Minha língua também falará de tua justiça o dia todo, pois já estão envergonhados e humilhados aqueles que procuram me fazer mal.

¹In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

²Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.

³Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

⁴Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

⁵For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth.

⁶By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.

⁷I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.

⁸Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.

⁹Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.

¹⁰For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,

¹¹Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.

¹²O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.

¹³Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.

¹⁴But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.

¹⁵My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

¹⁶I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

¹⁷O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

¹⁸Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

¹⁹Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!

²⁰Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

²¹Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

²²I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

²³My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

²⁴My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.

¹Psalmus David, filiorum Jonadab, et priorum captivorum. In te, Domine, speravi; non confundar in æternum.

²In justitia tua libera me, et eripe me: inclina ad me aurem tuam, et salva me.

³Esto mihi in Deum protectorem, et in locum munitum, ut salvum me facias: quoniam firmamentum meum et refugium meum es tu.

⁴Deus meus, eripe me de manu peccatoris, et de manu contra legem agentis, et iniqui:

⁵quoniam tu es patientia mea, Domine; Domine, spes mea a juventute mea.

⁶In te confirmatus sum ex utero; de ventre matris meæ tu es protector meus; in te cantatio mea semper.

⁷Tamquam prodigium factus sum multis; et tu adjutor fortis.

⁸Repleatur os meum laude, ut cantem gloriam tuam, tota die magnitudinem tuam.

⁹Ne projicias me in tempore senectutis; cum defecerit virtus mea, ne derelinquas me.

¹⁰Quia dixerunt inimici mei mihi, et qui custodiebant animam meam consilium fecerunt in unum,

¹¹dicentes: Deus dereliquit eum: persequimini et comprehendite eum, quia non est qui eripiat.

¹²Deus, ne elongeris a me; Deus meus, in auxilium meum respice.

¹³Confundantur et deficiant detrahentes animæ meæ; operiantur confusione et pudore qui quærunt mala mihi.

¹⁴Ego autem semper sperabo, et adjiciam super omnem laudem tuam.

¹⁵Os meum annuntiabit justitiam tuam, tota die salutare tuum. Quoniam non cognovi litteraturam,

¹⁶introibo in potentias Domini; Domine, memorabor justitiæ tuæ solius.

¹⁷Deus, docuisti me a juventute mea; et usque nunc pronuntiabo mirabilia tua.

¹⁸Et usque in senectam et senium, Deus, ne derelinquas me, donec annuntiem brachium tuum generationi omni quæ ventura est, potentiam tuam,

¹⁹et justitiam tuam, Deus, usque in altissima; quæ fecisti magnalia, Deus: quis similis tibi?

²⁰Quantas ostendisti mihi tribulationes multas et malas! et conversus vivificasti me, et de abyssis terræ iterum reduxisti me.

²¹Multiplicasti magnificentiam tuam; et conversus consolatus es me.

²²Nam et ego confitebor tibi in vasis psalmi veritatem tuam, Deus; psallam tibi in cithara, sanctus Israël.

²³Exsultabunt labia mea cum cantavero tibi; et anima mea quam redemisti.

²⁴Sed et lingua mea tota die meditabitur justitiam tuam, cum confusi et reveriti fuerint qui quærunt mala mihi.

¹Τῷ Δαυείδ, υἱῶν Ἰωναδὰβ καὶ τῶν πρώτων αἰχμαλωτισθέντων. Ὁ θεὸς, ἐπὶ σοὶ ἤλπισα, μὴ καταισχυνθείην εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.

²ἐν τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ σου ῥῦσαί με καὶ ἐξελοῦ με, κλῖνον πρὸς μὲ τὸ οὖς σου καὶ σῶσόν με.

³γενοῦ μοι εἰς θεὸν ὑπερασπιστήν, εἰς τόπον ὀχυρὸν τοῦ σῶσαί με· ὅτι στερέωμά μου καὶ καταφυγή μου εἶ σύ.

⁴ὁ θεός, ῥῦσαί με ἐκ χειρὸς ἁμαρτωλοῦ, ἐκ χειρὸς παρανομοῦντος καὶ ἀδικοῦντος·

⁵ὅτι σὺ εἶ ἡ ὑπομονή μου, κύριε· Κύριος ἡ ἐλπίς μου ἐκ νεότητός μου.

⁶ἐπὶ σὲ ἐπεστηρίχθην ἀπὸ γαστρός, ἐκ κοιλίας μητρός μου σύ μου εἶ σκεπαστής· ἐν σοὶ ἡ ὕμνησίς μου διὰ παντός.

⁷ὡσεὶ τέρας ἐγενήθην τοῖς πολλοῖς, καὶ σὺ βοηθὸς κραταιός.

⁸πληρωθήτω τὸ στόμα μου αἰνέσεως, ὅπως ὑμνήσω τὴν δόξαν σου, ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν τὴν μεγαλοπρεπίαν σου.

⁹μὴ ἀπορίψῃς με εἰς καιρὸν γήρους, ἐν τῷ ἐκλιπεῖν τὴν ἰσχύν μου μὴ ἐνκαταλίπῃς με.

¹⁰ὅτι εἶπαν οἱ ἐχθροί μου ἐμοί, καὶ οἱ φυλάσσοντες τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐβουλεύσαντο ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό,

¹¹λέγοντες Ὁ θεὸς ἐνκατέλιπεν αὐτόν· καταδιώξατε καὶ καταλάβετε αὐτόν, ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ ῥυόμενος.

¹²ὁ θεός, μὴ μακρύνῃς ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ,

¹³αἰσχυνθήτωσαν καὶ ἐκλιπέτωσαν οἱ ἐνδιαβάλλοντες τὴν ψυχήν μου, περιβαλέσθωσαν αἰσχύνην καὶ ἐντροπὴν οἱ ζητοῦντες τὰ κακά μοι.

¹⁴ἐγὼ δὲ διὰ παντὸς ἐλπιῶ, καὶ προσθήσω ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν αἴνεσίν σου.

¹⁵τὸ στόμα μου ἐξαγγελεῖ τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου, ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν τὴν σωτηρίαν σου, ὅτι οὐκ ἔγνων πραγματίας.

¹⁶εἰσελεύσομαι ἐν δυναστίᾳ Κυρίου· Κύριε, μνησθήσομαι τῆς δικαιοσύνης σου μόνου.

¹⁷ἐδίδαξάς με, ὁ θεός, ἐκ νεότητός μου, καὶ μέχρι νῦν ἀναγγελῶ τὰ θαυμάσιά σου,

¹⁸καὶ ἕως γήρους καὶ πρεσβείου· ὁ θεός, μὴ ἐνκαταλίπῃς με ἕως ἂν ἀπαγγείλω τὸν βραχίονά σου πάσῃ τῇ γενεᾷ τῇ ἐρχομένῃ, τὴν δυναστίαν σου

¹⁹καὶ τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου, ὁ θεός, ἕως ὑψίστων, ἃ ἐποίησας μεγαλεῖα. ὁ θεός, τίς ὅμοιός σοι;

²⁰ὅτι ἔδειξάς μοι θλίψεις πολλὰς καὶ κακά, καὶ ἐπιστρέψας ἐζωοποίησάς με, καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἀβύσσων τῆς γῆς πάλιν ἀνήγαγές με,

²¹πλεονάσας τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου. καὶ ἐπιστρέψας παρεκάλεσάς με, καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἀβύσσων πάλιν ἀνήγαγές με.

²²καὶ γὰρ ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι ἐν σκεύει ψαλμοῦ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου, ψαλῶ σοι, ὁ θεός, ἐν κιθάρᾳ, ὁ ἅγιος τοῦ Ἰσραήλ.

²³ἀγαλλιάσονται τὰ χείλη μου ὅταν ψάλω σοι, καὶ ἡ ψυχή μου ἣν ἐλυτρώσω.

²⁴ἔτι δὲ καὶ ἡ γλῶσσά μου ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν μελετήσει τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου, ὅταν αἰσχυνθῶσιν καὶ ἐντραπῶσιν οἱ ζητοῦντες τὰ κακά μοι.
