Salmo 5

¹Salmo de Davi para o regente, com instrumentos de sopro: SENHOR, escuta as minhas palavras; entende aquilo que estou meditando;

²Ouve a voz do meu clamor, meu Rei e meu Deus; porque a ti eu oro.

³SENHOR, pela manhã ouvirás minha voz; pela manhã apresentarei meu clamor a ti, e ficarei esperando.

⁴Porque tu não és Deus que tens prazer na maldade; contigo não habitará o mau.

⁵Os arrogantes não ficarão de pé diante dos teus olhos; tu odeias todas os praticantes de maldade.

⁶Tu destruirás aos que falam mentiras; o SENHOR abomina ao homem sanguinário e enganador.

⁷Mas eu, pela grandeza de tua bondade, entrarei em tua casa; adorarei inclinado para o templo de tua santidade em temor a ti.

⁸SENHOR, guia-me em tua justiça, por causa dos meus adversários; prepara diante de mim o teu caminho.

⁹Porque não há verdade na boca deles; seu interior são meras destruições; a garganta deles é uma sepultura aberta; com suas línguas elogiam falsamente.

¹⁰Declara-os culpados, ó Deus, e que caiam de seus próprios conselhos; expulsa-os por causa da abundância de suas transgressões, porque eles se rebelaram contra ti.

¹¹Mas se alegrem todos os que confiam em ti; clamai de alegria para sempre; porque tu os proteges; e fiquem contentes em ti aqueles que amam o teu nome.

¹²Porque tu, SENHOR, abençoarás ao justo; como com um escudo tu o rodearás com tua bondade.

²Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

³My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

⁴For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

⁵The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

⁶Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

⁷But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

⁸Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

⁹For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

¹⁰Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

¹¹But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

¹²For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

²Verba mea auribus percipe, Domine; intellige clamorem meum.

³Intende voci orationis meæ, rex meus et Deus meus.

⁴Quoniam ad te orabo, Domine: mane exaudies vocem meam.

⁵Mane astabo tibi, et videbo quoniam non Deus volens iniquitatem tu es.

⁶Neque habitabit juxta te malignus, neque permanebunt injusti ante oculos tuos.

⁷Odisti omnes qui operantur iniquitatem; perdes omnes qui loquuntur mendacium. Virum sanguinum et dolosum abominabitur Dominus.

⁸Ego autem in multitudine misericordiæ tuæ introibo in domum tuam; adorabo ad templum sanctum tuum in timore tuo.

⁹Domine, deduc me in justitia tua: propter inimicos meos dirige in conspectu tuo viam meam.

¹⁰Quoniam non est in ore eorum veritas; cor eorum vanum est.

¹¹Sepulchrum patens est guttur eorum; linguis suis dolose agebant: judica illos, Deus. Decidant a cogitationibus suis; secundum multitudinem impietatum eorum expelle eos, quoniam irritaverunt te, Domine.

¹²Et lætentur omnes qui sperant in te; in æternum exsultabunt, et habitabis in eis. Et gloriabuntur in te omnes qui diligunt nomen tuum,

¹³quoniam tu benedices justo. Domine, ut scuto bonæ voluntatis tuæ coronasti nos.

¹Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ὑπὲρ τῆς κληρονομούσης· ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυείδ.

²Τὰ ῥήματά μου ἐνώτισαι, Κύριε, σύνες τῆς κραυγῆς μου,

³πρόσχες τῆς φωνῆς τῆς δεήσεώς μου, ὁ βασιλεύς μου καὶ ὁ θεός μου· ὅτι πρὸς σὲ προσεύξομαι, Κύριε.

⁴τὸ πρωὶ εἰσακούσῃ τῆς φωνῆς μου· τὸ πρωὶ παραστήσομαί σοι καὶ ἐπόψομαι.

⁵ὅτι οὐχὶ θεὸς θέλων ἀνομίαν σὺ εἶ· οὐδὲ παροικήσει σοι πονηρευόμενος.

⁶οὐ διαμενοῦσιν παράνομοι κατέναντι τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν σου· ἐμίσησας, Κύριε, πάντας τοὺς ἐργαζομένους τὴν ἀνομίαν.

⁷ἀπολεῖς πάντας τοὺς λαλοῦντας τὸ ψεῦδος· ἄνδρα αἱμάτων καὶ δόλιον βδελύσσεται Κύριος.

⁸ἐγὼ δὲ ἐν τῷ πλήθει τοῦ ἐλέου σου εἰσελεύσομαι εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου, προσκυνήσω πρὸς ναὸν ἅγιόν σου ἐν φόβῳ σου.

⁹Κύριε, ὁδήγησόν με ἐν τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ σου ἕνεκα τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου, κατεύθυνον ἐνώπιόν σου τὴν ὁδόν μου.

¹⁰ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν ἀλήθεια, ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν ματαία· τάφος ἀνεῳγμένος ὁ λάρυγξ αὐτῶν, ταῖς γλώσσαις αὐτῶν ἐδολιοῦσαν.

¹¹κρῖνον αὐτούς, ὁ θεός· ἀποπεσάτωσαν ἀπὸ τῶν διαβουλιῶν αὐτῶν· κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ἀσεβειῶν αὐτῶν ἔξωσον αὐτούς, ὅτι παρεπίκρανάν σε, Κύριε.

¹²καὶ εὐφρανθήτωσαν ἐπὶ σοὶ πάντες οἱ ἐλπίζοντες ἐπὶ σέ· εἰς αἰῶνα ἀγαλλιάσονται, καὶ κατασκηνώσεις ἐν αὐτοῖς. καὶ καυχήσονται ἐπὶ σοὶ πάντες οἱ ἀγαπῶντες τὸ ὄνομά σου,

¹³ὅτι σὺ εὐλογεῖς δίκαιον. Κύριε, ὡς ὅπλῳ εὐδοκίας ἐστεφάνωσας ἡμᾶς.
