Salmo 43

¹Faze-me justiça, ó Deus, e defende minha causa contra a nação impiedosa; livra-me do homem enganador e perverso;

²Pois tu és o Deus de minha força. Por que tu me rejeitas? Por que ando em sofrimento pela opressão do inimigo?

³Envia tua luz e tua verdade, para que elas me guiem, para que me levem ao monte de tua santidade e a tuas habitações;

⁴E eu entre ao altar de Deus, ao Deus da minha maior alegria, e eu te louve com harpa, ó Deus, meu Deus.

⁵Por que estás abatida, minha alma? E por que te inquietas em mim? Espera em Deus, porque eu ainda o louvarei; ele é a minha salvação e o meu Deus.

¹Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

²For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

³O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

⁴Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

⁵Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

¹Psalmus David. Judica me, Deus, et discerne causam meam de gente non sancta: ab homine iniquo et doloso erue me.

²Quia tu es, Deus, fortitudo mea: quare me repulisti? et quare tristis incedo, dum affligit me inimicus?

³Emitte lucem tuam et veritatem tuam: ipsa me deduxerunt, et adduxerunt in montem sanctum tuum, et in tabernacula tua.

⁴Et introibo ad altare Dei, ad Deum qui lætificat juventutem meam. Confitebor tibi in cithara, Deus, Deus meus.

⁵Quare tristis es, anima mea? et quare conturbas me? Spera in Deo, quoniam adhuc confitebor illi, salutare vultus mei, et Deus meus.

¹Ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυείδ. Κρῖνόν με, ὁ θεός, καὶ δίκασον τὴν δίκην μου ἐξ ἔθνους οὐχ ὁσίου· ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἀδίκου καὶ δολίου ῥῦσαί με.

²ὅτι σὺ εἶ ὁ θεὸς κραταίωμά μου· ἵνα τί ἀπώσω με; καὶ ἵνα τί σκυθρωπάζων πορεύομαι ἐν τῷ ἐκθλίβειν τὸν ἐχθρόν μου;

³ἐξαπόστειλον τὸ φῶς σου καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου· αὐτά με ὡδήγησαν καὶ ἤγαγόν με εἰς ὄρος ἅγιόν σου καὶ εἰς τὰ σκηνώματά σου.

⁴καὶ εἰσελεύσομαι πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ θεοῦ, πρὸς τὸν θεὸν τὸν εὐφραίνοντα τὴν νεότητά μου· ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι, Κύριε ὁ θεός μου, ἐν κιθάρᾳ.

⁵ἵνα τί περίλυπος εἶ, ψυχή, καὶ ἵνα τί συνταράσσεις με; ἔλπισον ἐπὶ τὸν θεόν, ὅτι ἐξομολογήσομαι αὐτῷ· σωτήριον τοῦ προσώπου μου ὁ θεός μου.
