Salmo 32

¹Instrução de Davi: Bem-aventurado aquele cuja transgressão é perdoada, cujo pecado é encoberto.

²Bem-aventurado o homem a quem o SENHOR não considera a maldade, e em cujo espírito não há engano.

³Enquanto fiquei calado, meus ossos ficaram cada vez mais fracos com meu gemido pelo dia todo.

⁴Porque de dia e de noite tua mão pesava sobre mim; meu humor ficou seco como no verão. (Selá)

⁵Eu reconheci meu pecado a ti, e não escondi minha maldade. Eu disse: Confessarei ao SENHOR minhas transgressões;E tu perdoaste a maldade do meu pecado. (Selá)

⁶Por isso cada santo deve orar a ti em todo tempo que achar; até no transbordar de muitas águas, elas não chegarão a ele.

⁷Tu és meu esconderijo, tu me guardas da angústia; tu me envolves de canções alegres de liberdade. (Selá)

⁸Eu te instruirei, e de ensinarei o caminho que deves seguir; eu te aconselharei, e porei meus olhos em ti.

⁹Não sejais como o cavalo ou como a mula, que não têm entendimento; cuja boca é presa com o cabresto e o freio, para que não cheguem a ti.

¹⁰O perverso terá muitas dores, mas aquele que confia no SENHOR, a bondade o rodeará.

¹¹Alegrai-vos no SENHOR, e enchei de alegria vós justos, e cantai alegremente todos os corretos de coração.

¹A Psalm of David, Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

²Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

³When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

⁴For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

⁵I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

⁶For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

⁷Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

⁸I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

⁹Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

¹⁰Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.

¹¹Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

¹Ipsi David intellectus. Beati quorum remissæ sunt iniquitates, et quorum tecta sunt peccata.

²Beatus vir cui non imputavit Dominus peccatum, nec est in spiritu ejus dolus.

³Quoniam tacui, inveteraverunt ossa mea, dum clamarem tota die.

⁴Quoniam die ac nocte gravata est super me manus tua, conversus sum in ærumna mea, dum configitur spina.

⁵Delictum meum cognitum tibi feci, et injustitiam meam non abscondi. Dixi: Confitebor adversum me injustitiam meam Domino; et tu remisisti impietatem peccati mei.

⁶Pro hac orabit ad te omnis sanctus in tempore opportuno. Verumtamen in diluvio aquarum multarum, ad eum non approximabunt.

⁷Tu es refugium meum a tribulatione quæ circumdedit me; exsultatio mea, erue me a circumdantibus me.

⁸Intellectum tibi dabo, et instruam te in via hac qua gradieris; firmabo super te oculos meos.

⁹Nolite fieri sicut equus et mulus, quibus non est intellectus. In camo et freno maxillas eorum constringe, qui non approximant ad te.

¹⁰Multa flagella peccatoris; sperantem autem in Domino misericordia circumdabit.

¹¹Lætamini in Domino, et exsultate, justi; et gloriamini, omnes recti corde.

¹Συνέσεως τῷ Δαυείδ. Μακάριοι ὧν ἀφέθησαν αἱ ἀνομίαι, καὶ ὧν ἐπεκαλύφθησαν αἱ ἁμαρτίαι.

²μακάριος ἀνὴρ οὗ οὐ μὴ λογίσηται Κύριος ἁμαρτίαν, οὐδέ ἐστιν ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτοῦ δόλος.

³ὅτι ἐσίγησα, ἐπαλαιώθη τὰ ὀστᾶ μου ἀπὸ τοῦ κράζειν με ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν.

⁴ὅτι ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτὸς ἐβαρύνθη ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ ἡ χείρ σου, ἐστράφην εἰς ταλαιπωρίαν ἐν τῷ ἐνπαγῆναι ἄκανθαν. διάψαλμα.

⁵τὴν ἁμαρτίαν μου ἐγνώρισα, καὶ τὴν ἀνομίαν μου οὐκ ἐκάλυψα· εἶπα Ἐξαγορεύσω κατ᾽ ἐμοῦ τὴν ἁμαρτίαν μου τῷ κυρίῳ, καὶ σὺ ἀφῆκας τὴν ἀσέβειαν τῆς καρδίας μου. διάψαλμα.

⁶ὑπὲρ ταύτης προσεύξεται πᾶς ὅσιος πρὸς σὲ ἐν καιρῷ εὐθέτῳ· πλὴν ἐν κατακλυσμῷ ὑδάτων πολλῶν πρὸς αὐτὸν οὐκ ἐγγιοῦσιν.

⁷σύ μου εἶ καταφυγὴ ἀπὸ θλίψεως τῆς περιεχούσης με· τὸ ἀγαλλίαμά μου, λύτρωσαί με ἀπὸ τῶν κυκλωσάντων με. διάψαλμα.

⁸συνετιῶ σε καὶ συνβιβῶ σε ἐν ὁδῷ ταύτῃ ᾗ πορεύσῃ, ἐπιστηριῶ ἐπὶ σὲ τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου.

⁹μὴ γίνεσθε ὡς ἵππος καὶ ἡμίονος, οἷς οὐκ ἔστιν σύνεσις· ἐν χαλινῷ καὶ κημῷ τὰς σιαγόνας αὐτῶν ἄγξαι τῶν μὴ ἐγγιζόντων πρὸς σέ.

¹⁰πολλαὶ αἱ μάστιγες τοῦ ἁμαρτωλοῦ, τὸν δὲ ἐλπίζοντα ἐπὶ Κύριον ἔλεος κυκλώσει.

¹¹εὐφράνθητε ἐπὶ Κύριον καὶ ἀγαλλιᾶσθε, δίκαιοι· καὶ καυχᾶσθε, πάντες οἱ εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳ.
