Salmo 125

¹Os que confiam no SENHOR são como o monte de Sião, que não se abala, e permanece para sempre.

²Assim como montanhas estão ao redor de Jerusalém, assim também o SENHOR está ao redor de seu povo, desde agora para sempre.

³Porque o cetro da maldade não repousará sobre a sorte dos justos, para que os justos não estendam suas mãos à perversidade.

⁴SENHOR, trata bem aos bons, e aos corretos em seus corações.

⁵Mas aos que se dirigem a seus caminhos tortuosos, o SENHOR os mandará embora junto com os que praticam perversidade. Paz seja sobre Israel.

¹A Song of degrees. They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

²As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

³For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

⁴Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

⁵As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

¹Canticum graduum. Qui confidunt in Domino, sicut mons Sion: non commovebitur in æternum, qui habitat

²in Jerusalem. Montes in circuitu ejus; et Dominus in circuitu populi sui, ex hoc nunc et usque in sæculum.

³Quia non relinquet Dominus virgam peccatorum super sortem justorum: ut non extendant justi ad iniquitatem manus suas,

⁴benefac, Domine, bonis, et rectis corde.

⁵Declinantes autem in obligationes, adducet Dominus cum operantibus iniquitatem. Pax super Israël!

¹ᾨδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν. Οἱ πεποιθότες ἐπὶ Κύριον ὡς ὄρος Σιών· οὐ σαλευθήσεται εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ὁ κατοικῶν Ἰερουσαλήμ.

²ὄρη κύκλῳ αὐτῆς, καὶ Κύριος κύκλῳ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν καὶ ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος.

³ὅτι οὐκ ἀφήσει τὴν ῥάβδον τῶν ἁμαρτωλῶν ἐπὶ τὸν κλῆρον τῶν δικαίων, ὅπως ἂν μὴ ἐκτείνωσιν οἱ δίκαιοι ἐν ἀνομίᾳ χεῖρας αὐτῶν.

⁴ἀγάθυνον, Κύριε, τοῖς ἀγαθοῖς καὶ τοῖς εὐθέσι τῇ καρδίᾳ·

⁵τοὺς δὲ ἐκκλίνοντας εἰς τὰς στραγγαλιὰς ἀπάξει Κύριος μετὰ τῶν ἐργαζομένων τὴν ἀνομίαν. εἰρήνη ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰσραήλ.
