Salmo 106

¹Aleluia! Agradecei ao SENHOR, porque ele é bom, porque sua bondade dura para sempre.

²Quem falará das proezas do SENHOR? Quem dirá louvores a ele?

³Bem-aventurados são os que guardam o juízo; e aquele que pratica justiça em todo tempo.

⁴Lembra-te de mim, SENHOR, conforme tua boa vontade para com teu povo; concede-me tua salvação.

⁵Para eu ver o bem de teus escolhidos; para eu me alegrar com a alegria de teu povo; para eu ter orgulho de tua herança.

⁶Pecamos com nossos pais, fizemos o mal, agimos perversamente.

⁷Nossos pais no Egito não deram atenção a tuas maravilhas, nem se lembraram da abundância de tuas bondades; mas ao invés disso se rebelaram junto ao mar, perto do mar Vermelho.

⁸Apesar disso ele os livrou por causa de seu nome, para que seu poder fosse conhecido.

⁹E repreendeu ao mar Vermelho, e este se secou; e os fez caminharem pelas profundezas do mar,como que pelo deserto.

¹⁰E os livrou das mãos daquele que os odiava, e os resgatou das mãos do inimigo.

¹¹E as águas cobriram seus adversários; não sobrou nem um sequer deles.

¹²Então creram nas palavras dele, e cantaram louvores a ele.

¹³Porém logo se esqueceram das obras dele, e não esperaram pelo seu conselho.

¹⁴Mas foram levados pelo mau desejo no deserto, e tentaram a Deus no lugar desabitado.

¹⁵Então ele lhes concedeu o que pediam, porém enviou magreza a suas almas.

¹⁶E tiveram inveja de Moisés no acampamento; e de Arão, o santo do SENHOR.

¹⁷A terra se abriu, e engoliu a Datã; e encobriu ao grupo de Abirão.

¹⁸E o fogo consumiu o seu grupo; a chama queimou os perversos.

¹⁹Fizeram um bezerro em Horebe; e se inclinaram perante uma imagem de fundição.

²⁰E mudaram sua glória na figura de um boi, que come erva.

²¹Esqueceram-se de Deus, o salvador deles, que tinha feito coisas grandiosas no Egito,

²²Maravilhas na terra de Cam, coisas temíveis no mar Vermelho.

²³Por isso ele disse que teria os destruído, se Moisés, seu escolhido, não tivesse se posto na fenda diante dele, para desviar sua ira, para não os destruir.

²⁴Eles também desprezaram a terra desejável, e não creram na palavra dele.

²⁵E ao invés disso murmuraram em suas tendas, e não deram ouvidos à voz do SENHOR.

²⁶Por isso ele levantou sua mão contra eles, jurando que os derrubaria no deserto;

²⁷E que derrubaria sua semente entre as nações; e os dispersaria pelas terras.

²⁸Eles também passaram a adorar Baal-Peor, e a comer sacrifícios dos mortos.

²⁹E o provocaram à ira com as obras deles; e por isso surgiu a praga entre eles.

³⁰Então se levantou Fineias, e interveio, e cessou aquela praga.

³¹E isto lhe foi reconhecido como justiça, de geração em geração, para todo o sempre.

³²Também o irritaram muito junto às águas de Meribá; e houve mal a Moisés por causa deles;

³³Porque provocaram o seu espírito, de modo que ele falou imprudentemente com seus lábios.

³⁴Eles não destruíram os povos que o SENHOR tinha lhes mandado;

³⁵Mas ao invés disso, se misturaram com as nações, e aprenderam as obras delas;

³⁶E serviram a seus ídolos; e vieram a lhes ser por laço de armadilha.

³⁷Além disso, sacrificaram seus filhos e suas filhas a demônios,

³⁸E derramaram sangue inocente, o sangue de seus filhos e de suas filhas, os quais eles sacrificaram aos ídolos de Canaã; e a terra foi profanada com este sangue.

³⁹E contaminaram-se com suas obras; e se prostituíram com suas ações.

⁴⁰Por isso a ira do SENHOR se acendeu contra seu povo; e ele odiou sua propriedade.

⁴¹E os entregou nas mãos das nações estrangeiras, e aqueles que os odiavam passaram a dominá-los.

⁴²E seus inimigos os oprimiram, e foram humilhados sob as mãos deles.

⁴³Muitas vezes ele os livrou; mas eles voltavam a irritá-lo com seus pensamentos, e foram abatidos pela sua perversidade.

⁴⁴Apesar disso, ele observou a angústia deles, e ouviu quando eles clamaram.

⁴⁵E ele se lembrou de seu pacto em favor deles, e sentiu pena conforme suas muitas bondades.

⁴⁶E fez com que todos os que os mantinham em cativeiro tivessem misericórdia deles.

⁴⁷Salva-nos, SENHOR nosso Deus, e ajunta-nos dentre as nações, para darmos graças ao teu santo nome, e termos orgulho em louvar a ti.

⁴⁸Bendito seja o SENHOR, Deus de Israel, desde sempre e para sempre! E todo o povo diga Amém! Aleluia!

¹Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

²Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?

³Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

⁴Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

⁵That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

⁶We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

⁷Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

⁸Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

⁹He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

¹⁰And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

¹¹And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

¹²Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

¹³They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:

¹⁴But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

¹⁵And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

¹⁶They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the Lord.

¹⁷The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.

¹⁸And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.

¹⁹They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

²⁰Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.

²¹They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

²²Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

²³Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

²⁴Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

²⁵But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.

²⁶Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

²⁷To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

²⁸They joined themselves also unto Baal–peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

²⁹Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.

³⁰Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

³¹And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

³²They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:

³³Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.

³⁴They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the Lord commanded them:

³⁵But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

³⁶And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

³⁷Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

³⁸And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

³⁹Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

⁴⁰Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

⁴¹And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

⁴²Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

⁴³Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

⁴⁴Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:

⁴⁵And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

⁴⁶He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.

⁴⁷Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

⁴⁸Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

¹Alleluja. Confitemini Domino, quoniam bonus, quoniam in sæculum misericordia ejus.

²Quis loquetur potentias Domini; auditas faciet omnes laudes ejus?

³Beati qui custodiunt judicium, et faciunt justitiam in omni tempore.

⁴Memento nostri, Domine, in beneplacito populi tui; visita nos in salutari tuo:

⁵ad videndum in bonitate electorum tuorum; ad lætandum in lætitia gentis tuæ: ut lauderis cum hæreditate tua.

⁶Peccavimus cum patribus nostris: injuste egimus; iniquitatem fecimus.

⁷Patres nostri in Ægypto non intellexerunt mirabilia tua; non fuerunt memores multitudinis misericordiæ tuæ. Et irritaverunt ascendentes in mare, mare Rubrum;

⁸et salvavit eos propter nomen suum, ut notam faceret potentiam suam.

⁹Et increpuit mare Rubrum et exsiccatum est, et deduxit eos in abyssis sicut in deserto.

¹⁰Et salvavit eos de manu odientium, et redemit eos de manu inimici.

¹¹Et operuit aqua tribulantes eos; unus ex eis non remansit.

¹²Et crediderunt verbis ejus, et laudaverunt laudem ejus.

¹³Cito fecerunt; obliti sunt operum ejus: et non sustinuerunt consilium ejus.

¹⁴Et concupierunt concupiscentiam in deserto, et tentaverunt Deum in inaquoso.

¹⁵Et dedit eis petitionem ipsorum, et misit saturitatem in animas eorum.

¹⁶Et irritaverunt Moysen in castris; Aaron, sanctum Domini.

¹⁷Aperta est terra, et deglutivit Dathan, et operuit super congregationem Abiron.

¹⁸Et exarsit ignis in synagoga eorum: flamma combussit peccatores.

¹⁹Et fecerunt vitulum in Horeb, et adoraverunt sculptile.

²⁰Et mutaverunt gloriam suam in similitudinem vituli comedentis fœnum.

²¹Obliti sunt Deum qui salvavit eos; qui fecit magnalia in Ægypto,

²²mirabilia in terra Cham, terribilia in mari Rubro.

²³Et dixit ut disperderet eos, si non Moyses, electus ejus, stetisset in confractione in conspectu ejus, ut averteret iram ejus, ne disperderet eos.

²⁴Et pro nihilo habuerunt terram desiderabilem; non crediderunt verbo ejus.

²⁵Et murmuraverunt in tabernaculis suis; non exaudierunt vocem Domini.

²⁶Et elevavit manum suam super eos ut prosterneret eos in deserto:

²⁷et ut dejiceret semen eorum in nationibus, et dispergeret eos in regionibus.

²⁸Et initiati sunt Beelphegor, et comederunt sacrificia mortuorum.

²⁹Et irritaverunt eum in adinventionibus suis, et multiplicata est in eis ruina.

³⁰Et stetit Phinees, et placavit, et cessavit quassatio.

³¹Et reputatum est ei in justitiam, in generationem et generationem usque in sempiternum.

³²Et irritaverunt eum ad aquas contradictionis, et vexatus est Moyses propter eos:

³³quia exacerbaverunt spiritum ejus, et distinxit in labiis suis.

³⁴Non disperdiderunt gentes quas dixit Dominus illis:

³⁵et commisti sunt inter gentes, et didicerunt opera eorum;

³⁶et servierunt sculptilibus eorum, et factum est illis in scandalum.

³⁷Et immolaverunt filios suos et filias suas dæmoniis.

³⁸Et effuderunt sanguinem innocentem, sanguinem filiorum suorum et filiarum suarum, quas sacrificaverunt sculptilibus Chanaan. Et infecta est terra in sanguinibus,

³⁹et contaminata est in operibus eorum: et fornicati sunt in adinventionibus suis.

⁴⁰Et iratus est furore Dominus in populum suum, et abominatus est hæreditatem suam.

⁴¹Et tradidit eos in manus gentium; et dominati sunt eorum qui oderunt eos.

⁴²Et tribulaverunt eos inimici eorum, et humiliati sunt sub manibus eorum;

⁴³sæpe liberavit eos. Ipsi autem exacerbaverunt eum in consilio suo, et humiliati sunt in iniquitatibus suis.

⁴⁴Et vidit cum tribularentur, et audivit orationem eorum.

⁴⁵Et memor fuit testamenti sui, et pœnituit eum secundum multitudinem misericordiæ suæ:

⁴⁶et dedit eos in misericordias, in conspectu omnium qui ceperant eos.

⁴⁷Salvos nos fac, Domine Deus noster, et congrega nos de nationibus: ut confiteamur nomini sancto tuo, et gloriemur in laude tua.

⁴⁸Benedictus Dominus Deus Israël, a sæculo et usque in sæculum; et dicet omnis populus: Fiat, fiat.

¹Ἁλληλουιά. Ἐξομολογεῖσθε τῷ κυρίῳ, ὅτι χρηστός, ὅτι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ.

²τίς λαλήσει τὰς δυναστείας τοῦ κυρίου, ἀκουστὰς ποιήσει πάσας τὰς αἰνέσεις αὐτοῦ;

³μακάριοι οἱ φυλάσσοντες κρίσιν καὶ ποιοῦντες δικαιοσύνην ἐν παντὶ καιρῷ.

⁴μνήσθητι ἡμῶν, Κύριε, ἐν τῇ εὐδοκίᾳ τοῦ λαοῦ σου, ἐπίσκεψαι ἡμᾶς ἐν τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου,

⁵τοῦ ἰδεῖν ἐν τῇ χρηστότητι τῶν ἐκλεκτῶν σου, τοῦ εὐφρανθῆναι ἐν τῇ εὐφροσύνῃ τοῦ ἔθνους σου, τοῦ ἐπαινεῖσθαι μετὰ τῆς κληρονομίας σου.

⁶ἡμάρτομεν μετὰ τῶν πατέρων ἡμῶν, ἠνομήσαμεν, ἠδικήσαμεν·

⁷οἱ πατέρες ἡμῶν ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ οὐ συνῆκαν τὰ θαυμάσιά σου, καὶ οὐκ ἐμνήσθησαν τοῦ πλήθους τοῦ ἐλέους σου, καὶ παρεπίκραναν ἀναβαίνοντες ἐν τῇ ἐρυθρᾷ θαλάσσῃ.

⁸καὶ ἔσωσεν αὐτοὺς ἕνεκεν τοῦ ὀνόματος αὐτοῦ, τοῦ γνωρίσαι τὴν δυναστείαν αὐτοῦ·

⁹καὶ ἐπετίμησεν τῇ ἐρυθρᾷ θαλάσσῃ καὶ ἐξηράνθη, καὶ ὡδήγησεν αὐτοὺς ἐν ἀβύσσῳ ὡς ἐν ἐρήμῳ·

¹⁰καὶ ἔσωσεν αὐτοὺς ἐκ χειρῶν μισούντων, καὶ ἐλυτρώσατο αὐτοὺς ἐκ χειρὸς ἐχθροῦ·

¹¹καὶ ἐκάλυψεν ὕδωρ τοὺς θλίβοντας αὐτούς, εἷς ἐξ αὐτῶν οὐχ ὑπελείφθη.

¹²καὶ ἐπίστευσαν ἐν τοῖς λόγοις αὐτοῦ, καὶ ᾔνεσαν τὴν αἴνεσιν αὐτοῦ.

¹³ἐτάχυναν, ἐπελάθοντο τῶν ἔργων αὐτοῦ, οὐχ ὑπέμειναν τὴν βουλὴν αὐτοῦ·

¹⁴καὶ ἐπεθύμησαν ἐπιθυμίαν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ, καὶ ἐπείρασαν τὸν θεὸν ἐν ἀνύδρῳ.

¹⁵καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς τὸ αἴτημα αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν πλησμονὴν εἰς τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτῶν.

¹⁶καὶ παρώργισαν Μωυσῆν ἐν τῇ παρεμβολῇ καὶ Ἀαρὼν τὸν ἅγιον Κυρίου·

¹⁷ἠνοίχθη ἡ γῆ καὶ κατέπιεν Δαθάν, καὶ ἐκάλυψεν ἐπὶ τὴν συναγωγὴν Ἀβειρών·

¹⁸καὶ ἐξεκαύθη πῦρ ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ αὐτῶν, καὶ φλὸξ κατέφλεξεν ἁμαρτωλούς.

¹⁹καὶ ἐποίησαν μόσχον ἐν Χωρήβ, καὶ προσεκύνησαν τῷ γλυπτῷ·

²⁰καὶ ἠλλάξαντο τὴν δόξαν αὐτῶν ἐν ὁμοιώματι μόσχου ἔσθοντος χόρτον.

²¹ἐπελάθοντο τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ σώζοντος αὐτούς, τοῦ ποιήσαντος μεγάλα ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ,

²²θαυμαστὰ ἐν γῇ Χὰμ καὶ φοβερὰ ἐπὶ θαλάσσης ἐρυθρᾶς.

²³καὶ εἶπεν τοῦ ἐξολεθρεῦσαι αὐτούς, εἰ μὴ Μωυσῆς ὁ ἐκλεκτὸς αὐτοῦ ἔστη ἐν τῇ θραύσει ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ, τοῦ ἀποστρέψαι ἀπὸ θυμοῦ ὀργῆς αὐτοῦ τοῦ μὴ ἐξολεθρεῦσαι.

²⁴καὶ ἐξουδένωσαν γῆν ἐπιθυμητήν, καὶ οὐκ ἐπίστευσαν τῷ λόγῳ αὐτοῦ·

²⁵καὶ ἐγόγγυσαν ἐν τοῖς σκηνώμασιν αὐτῶν, οὐκ εἰσήκουσαν τῆς φωνῆς Κυρίου.

²⁶καὶ ἐπῆρεν τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ αὐτοῖς, τοῦ καταβαλεῖν αὐτοὺς ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ,

²⁷καὶ τοῦ καταβαλεῖν τὸ σπέρμα αὐτῶν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν καὶ διασκορπίσαι αὐτοὺς ἐν ταῖς χώραις.

²⁸καὶ ἐτελέσθησαν τῷ Βεελφεγώρ, καὶ ἔφαγον θυσίας νεκρῶν·

²⁹καὶ παρώξυναν αὐτὸν ἐν τοῖς ἐπιτηδεύμασιν αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐπληθύνθη ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς ἡ πτῶσις.

³⁰καὶ ἔστη Φινεὲς καὶ ἐξιλάσατο, καὶ ἐκόπασεν ἡ θραῦσις·

³¹καὶ ἐλογίσθη αὐτῷ εἰς δικαιοσύνην εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεὰν ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος.

³²καὶ παρώργισαν ἐφ᾽ ὕδατος Ἀντιλογίας, καὶ ἐκακώθη Μωυσῆς δι᾽ αὐτούς,

³³ὅτι παρεπίκραναν τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτοῦ, καὶ διέστειλεν τοῖς χείλεσιν αὐτοῦ.

³⁴οὐκ ἐξωλέθρευσαν τὰ ἔθνη ἃ εἶπεν Κύριος,

³⁵καὶ ἐμίγησαν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν καὶ ἔμαθον τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν·

³⁶καὶ ἐδούλευσαν τοῖς γλυπτοῖς αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐγενήθη αὐτοῖς εἰς σκάνδαλον·

³⁷καὶ ἔθυσαν τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας αὐτῶν τοῖς δαιμονίοις,

³⁸καὶ ἐξέχεαν αἷμα ἀθῷον, αἷμα υἱῶν αὐτῶν καὶ θυγατέρων· ἔθυσαν τοῖς γλυπτοῖς Χανάαν· καὶ ἐφονοκτονήθη ἡ γῆ ἐν τοῖς αἵμασιν,

³⁹καὶ ἐμιάνθη ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτῶν· καὶ ἐπόρνευσαν ἐν τοῖς ἐπιτηδεύμασιν αὐτῶν.

⁴⁰καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμῷ Κύριος ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐβδελύξατο τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ·

⁴¹καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς εἰς χεῖρας ἐθνῶν, καὶ ἐκυρίευσαν αὐτῶν οἱ μισοῦντες αὐτούς·

⁴²καὶ ἔθλιψαν αὐτοὺς οἱ ἐχθροὶ αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐταπεινώθησαν ὑπὸ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν.

⁴³πλεονάκις ἐρρύσατο αὐτούς, αὐτοὶ δὲ παρεπίκραναν ἐν τῇ βουλῇ αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐταπεινώθησαν ἐν ταῖς ἀνομίαις αὐτῶν.

⁴⁴καὶ ἴδεν ἐν τῷ θλίβεσθαι αὐτούς, ἐν τῷ αὐτὸν εἰσακοῦσαι τῆς δεήσεως αὐτῶν·

⁴⁵καὶ ἐμνήσθη τῆς διαθήκης αὐτοῦ, καὶ μετεμελήθη κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τοῦ ἐλέους αὐτοῦ,

⁴⁶καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοὺς εἰς οἰκτιρμοὺς ἐναντίον πάντων αἰχμαλωτισάντων αὐτούς.

⁴⁷σῶσον ἡμᾶς, Κύριε ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν, καὶ ἐπισυνάγαγε ἡμᾶς ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν, τοῦ ἐξομολογήσασθαι τῷ ὀνόματι τῷ ἁγίῳ σου, τοῦ ἐνκαυχᾶσθαι ἐν τῇ αἰνέσει σου.

⁴⁸εὐλογητὸς Κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ἰσραὴλ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἰῶνος καὶ ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος· καὶ ἐρεῖ πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
